Cappuccino was good. However, the food we ordered was really bad. The bagel that was served was half baked and doughy. Avocado on the bagel was sour and the cream cheese was smelly. The bacon in the sandwich wasn’t bacon but some kind of salami, which wasn’t cooked perfectly either. All in all, the prices are high for the quality of food that’s served here. Legit coffee made fresh daily from 7 AM. The cafe is located just up from Playa Maderas and has quickly become a local hotspot thanks to the excellent drink offerings, fast Wi-Fi and breakfast too. The owner Tim runs some very hip playlists which completes the funky-cool vibe.
Vibe high and the magic around you will unfold! Clean, healthy & wholesome options for fresh juice combinations, smoothies, energy bowls, sandwiches, and protein a la carte; even chai lattes with non dairy alternatives, amazing music, superlative service, hospitality & ambience. Bismarck is a beautiful spirit & will even assist you with recommendations nearby or hopping on the shuttle. The owner Tim is one of a kind & has a magical space there at The Maderas Cafe, and is also the host of Todo Bien accommodations. Juan Carlos is next door at Rebelde Surf School and will send you into a sacred range after a surf lesson. They all play a beautiful role in the neighborhood, and have a special slice of paradise right there at Playa Maderas. I look forward to seeing everyone again :)

We’ve just moved into the Maderas area after visiting numerous times over the last ten or so years. Great to have the little bars on the beach but very pleased to have this coffee shop / roastery / cafe so close too. The food was great and the ‘Maderas vibe’ is spot on. Service was really nice and friendly too. Looking forward to becoming a local here :)
Best little coffee spot, close to the beach. This place rocks! The ambience, owners Tim and Cynthia, cakes, smoothies, breakfast, and of course the coffee which is roasted on site. This was my little home away from home when staying at Maderas.
Delicious breakfast and good coffee. Very short walk from Maderas beach. Really nice space to relax before or after a surf, or just because. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

The best coffee we drank in Nicaragua! The owners roast the local coffee right on site, some days you can smell it all the way to the beach. We had the pleasure of spending a few days in Playa Maderas and getting to know the owners. A wonderful family, we felt right at home. Even their dogs accepted us as visitors directly into their pack. This cafe is definitely worth a visit, if not for the coffee then for the atmosphere, the people and the carrot cake. We will definitely be back! PS: when you go, pet Chewy for me 😉
MUST STOP BEST COFFEE IN NICA!! We went here 5 mornings in a row, everything on the menu is delicious, coffee is fantastic and the people are so lovely! Bought some coffee to bring home. The eggs Benedict on the weekends is super yummy, smoothie bowls are yummy and the apple pie on Wednesdays 🤌🤌😻😍.

Best coffee in town! Especially after your morning surf at Maderas Beach. Tim is a great host and fun to chat to. Lovely people, self-roasted coffee and delicious cinnamon rolls and cakes. Must visit!

We are from the bay area and not even San Francisco has anything on the incredible coffee that they roast right here. It doesn’t end there, every smoothie is delicious and made with all fruit, not a bunch of water like some of the other places. The food is delicious and the ambience is magical. Definitely a must visit when you spend the day at Playa Maderas.
