Best overall breakfast experience I have had in Downtown Harrisonburg.
Ordered the burrito, pancakes, and a western omelet to share. Burrito was very good and had a good balance of rice, meat, and tortilla. The omelet did not stand out, needed seasoning and tasted strongly of the vegetables (peppers/onions). Still very enjoyable. Cinnamon swirl pancakes with candied pecans were delicious!
All food was brought out within 10 minutes of ordering. All staff were friendly and had good attitudes. Dining area is small but there is sufficient privacy in the booths. The value is very fair.

Great food, extremely friendly service, and a charming atmosphere. There are lots of options on the menu for everyone. If you're visiting the area, this place is a must visit!

I love this restaurant so much, and after many years away, I came back to find the best service and atmosphere, just like it has always been. I do think the food could use some kick at times. more spices and varieties of flavors for vegetables would be great. I’d love to see them start an organic farm behind the building or something wild like that. I’m sure it’s a lot to expect or ask for, but I would love to see the little grill survive and thrive for many more years.
