Visited The Lion & Crown recently and have to say, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. The location is absolutely five-star – nestled in the charming Watters Creek Village, it’s a delightful spot for an evening out. However, the quality of the food, particularly the fish and chips, left quite a bit to be desired. The fish was not up to the mark, lacking in flavor and crispiness, which was a disappointment. The atmosphere and service were decent, making the overall experience average. Would recommend for the location, but perhaps choose a different dish! Price per person $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

The staff was very friendly and the food was phenomenal! We had the steak and goat cheese flatbread and Irish stew, the flavors of both were impeccable! Our young son love the grilled chicken taco. They had some nice live music as well to add to the ambiance. And the drinks were fun and delicious!

Our waiter was great, friendly and helpful! Food was okay. We got cheeseburgers and they were good, fries were good as well but wouldn't drive back up there for a burger. Fair amount of people were sitting at bar. If I lived closer might would return. I had coffee and he brewed it fresh and cup was huge!
I have a real problem with a menu that calls its cheese fries "English Nachos" and then ALSO has nachos, especially when they have extremely loud live music. Just call them cheese fries! Or, have nachos with an option to get them "English style" with fries instead of chips. I'm sure anyone reading this review can imagine the situation I encountered tonight when I REALLY WANTED cheese fries after a long day and was presented with soggy nachos instead. Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

We were looking for a quick and casual spot and we landed on this place, definitely didn't disappoint. Menu was simple but the food was excellent. Great selection of beers and the service was great and friendly. Nice pub like atmosphere with sports broadcasting on the screens. We didn't know what to expect but would go back again for sure. The prime rib sandwich on french baguette was a hit. Very good sized portions and inexpensive. Comfort food. 🙂👍
This place is my new favorite!!! The prices were amazing the food was great and there was a live band that played great music the beer was great and the cocktails were delicious 😋 my friends loved it as well. Def coming back soon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Being from out of town I am always excited to try new places. I attended a business happy hour at the Lion & Crown recently and it was extremely disappointing. The location was outstanding but once you step inside the disappointment sets in quickly The interior is extremely run down and unkept. It’s very dark and not well lit throughout. The service was average at best and the appetizers were very forgettable. The flatbreads in particular were all bread and no real toppings I did enjoy my time in the patio and chatting with coworkers. I am confident there are better places to enjoy a much nicer happy hour nearby
We stopped by for a few drinks and dinner. The food portions were good and not overwhelming. The fish and chips were pretty good and my husband said the burger was great. We enjoyed the bar and watched a golf tournament on the big screen. Would recommend.
