I have been to this coffee shop several times years ago. It was nice when it first opened but the service has always been cold and slightly unwelcoming. I came recently and ordered a croissant and coffee. The pastry was stiff, as if it was a day or so old. The coffee was fine. Service was as bland as unwelcoming as before. What I did find upsetting was, while watching the coffee being made, one of the baristas picked up each cup with her fingers inside of it. I didn’t not see her wash her hands before making the coffee. Also, the bathroom is in need of a scrubbing. The faucets had rings of mildew around them as well as the toilet. I couldn’t see the floor as the room is painted black.
I realize this is locally owned and I like supporting small businesses, however, cleanliness and basic hygiene should be addressed soon.
