Just arrived to Charleston from Dallas and wanted something for breakfast. I had the pork tacos with goat cheese and avocado and the house made chips. A little salty but washed it down with a cranberry mimosa. Very cute little place. I hear lines out the door for brunch on the weekend but we were seated promptly with no wait. Good ole southern hospitality I must say. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Hashbrowns

I’ve eaten at the Junction probably 10 times over the last 3 years and every time has just been what I would call “just fine”. The service is always great, but the food is always just fine enough for me to not ever say anything. But what I received today is ridiculous and I can’t believe we paid for it. My fiance got me a sausage egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant to go. We live about 10 minutes from here - I include that to say the food did not sit in his car for very long from point A to point B. When he got home, I opened the box to this. First of all, who gets sausage links on a breakfast sandwich? That wasn’t specified, at least on their online menu, and had I known they were links I probably just wouldn’t have ordered it. It’s just weird to eat with links. Secondly, one egg was also not specified, and I’d say standard at most places is two eggs. The croissant is comically large for one egg and two sausage links. The sausage links were DRY. The cheese on the croissant was somehow both rubbery and crusty. Just all in all a massive disappointment. Service Take out
We had the Mexican hash with portobello and the chicken and french toast and both were really good! Service was great even when the place was completely full. Loved the self serve coffee station. Let's cut the the chase-- the service is friendly, knowledgeable and patient. The atmosphere is so incredibly chill. Self serve coffee and quirky mugs, outside seating with lots of plants. But the food?? Somehow even better! I didn't know what the hell a tomato pie was before this past weekend. Now I love tomato pies. The shitake bacon was delicious and such a thoughtful side dish to include on the menu. Mexican hash was hashing, baby. And the chicken and French toast?? With the rosemary syrup and pecan butter? It should be kinda obvious at this point why I came here Saturday AND Sunday. And I'm a local, honey. I'm always expecting the food to be good. These plates were DAMN good. It's a great place for brunch! I ordered the Mexican hash with avocado and a side of coffee rubbed bacon, and it was bliss. The hash is delicious with a flavorful sauce, and my egg is perfectly cooked. I think this place has my favorite bacon in all of Charleston. I tried their seasonal apple cider mimosa, and it hit the spot. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

That was one of the worst meals I've ever had. I don't know what they consider "eggs over easy", because I was just given "eggs over hard" - simply overcooked eggs. The bacon was burnt, and the "coffee sauce" was bad enough to spit back out. To add to this, we spent an hour just waiting to order, and another 20 minutes after waiting on food. The waitress was nice and pleasant to talk to, but the wait was awful. The huevos rancheros was undercooked almost, and the most "Americanized" version I've ever had, with undercooked beans, plain pulled pork, and very little seasoning. I don't even want to come back to give the place a second chance just because of how bad the food was. I'm actually astonished. Waffle House would have been a better option. We had an amazing experience here for Saturday brunches with some friends, service was speedy, kind, and on top of our needs. The atmosphere was laid back and pretty great. During actual breakfast time it gets a little louder due to the hustle and bustle of being a popular place but overall one of the best stops we had in North Charleston. I had the French Toast with a side of Bacon and it was perfectly prepared. The syrup on top was a good flavor and consistency and the butter was delicious making it a phenomenal breakfast choice. 👌 Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Found an incredible place for breakfast, The Junction Kitchen and Provisions, in North Charleston. I would bet their lunch and dinners are not to be missed too. Mexican Hash- Cheesy hash, cactus braised pork, over easy egg, black bean pico, jalapeno honey chutney, and avocado... there was a lot going on in this dish, the resulting combination made fir a fantastic out of the norm breakfast. Buzzed Doughnut- Coffee rubbed bacon and over easy egg on a biscuit doughnut with a mocha dip and shredded hashbrowns. Side of stone ground grits.... WOW, WOW, WOW! This dish had my tadtebuds firing on all cylinders. The coffee rubbed bacon is something I will never forget. The egg was a perfect over easy, the hashbrowns tender with just the right amount of crispy crust. I took them both off of the biscuit donut and ate the donut either the mocha dip. It was soooo good. I added Brian's jalapeños honey chutney to my grits. Made the creamy grits even better. The service was great as well. I’ll have to be the one who says it. Not worth the hype! We visited on a Sunday morning because of the awesome reviews. While the food was fine, it is way overpriced for what you get. The portions in the photos online are not accurate. The server was nice, but wasn’t very attentive. We ran out of our sweet tea and soda (3.95), and it wasn’t refilled until we were ready to leave. We waited for at least 15-20 minutes after our plates had been cleared before the server checked us out our table. Unfortunately, there were many people waiting to get seated, and they could have been sat much sooner. We observed another table waiting to be checked out as long.
