A hidden gem of a bar, tucked in Checkpoint on Soi 5. Jane and Craig really know there cocktails and the Mai Tai’s are to die for. All drinks are very reasonably priced despite the quality. Everyone should check this place out!

Icy cold beer.. A rare thing in Thailand.
The Island Bar Pattaya is located within the Checkpoint Market, towards the back, on the right hand side.
Kraig, the owner, keeps a large range of local and imported beers, wines, spirits and Rum.
The food mall/market offers something different at each booth and all are delicious. Come in, order your food and take a seat outside of The Island Bar. The food vendors will bring you orders to you while you enjoy the coldest beer that Thailand has to offer.. Or whatever else takes your fancy, of course.
Kraig and his lovely wife Jane, will make you feel very much at home and welcome.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Hands down the best tropical cocktails I’ve had anywhere. Better MaiTais than Hawaii. Owner & his wife really go top shelf on their drinks. Great vibe, great folks happy to see you. Grab dinner at any of the stalls (also awesome selection) and sit down with a delicious mixed tiki style drink or ice cold beer and enjoy! We sure do and will always return when in Pratumnak. Easy walk over to Jomtien as well along Dongtan Beach.
