Head to the shack in back not the big building on premises to get this famous Maine donut. Potato donuts are denser and fantastic. There are no bad flavors, however the chocolate sea salt, the lemon, and cinnamon sugar are my go to donuts. The only drawback of this location is a lack of seating, and there is no covered seating. So being able to sit down and have a donut here is weather dependent (unlike the one in Portland). Regardless, these donuts are delicious and a must try.

How could potato donuts taste so good??? I had them first time in my life and was so amazed!!! My visit to Holy Donut left me with mixed impressions. The donuts I tried weren't quite as fresh as I had hoped, which was a bit disappointing. However, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding a positive touch to the experience. It's worth noting that the selection can be somewhat limited during the summer hours, but they make up for it with their very unique and creative flavors. On a comparative note, I found the Portland location to be a better option overall.

Awesome old fashioned New England donuts. They remind me of the ones my neighbor made every Halloween in my 1980's rural Maine childhood. Great coffee too. Love that this place has a drive through!

I had the Blueberry Cinnamon Sugar donut and it was very good and fresh but the price was extremely expensive….$4.05 for one donut 😳

Came here today and tried the regular and chocolate cinnamon sugar donut, toasted coconut donut, and chocolate sea salt. Can say that these potato donuts are much better and lighter than regular donuts you’d get from Dunkin or the store. The coffee and tea are also amazing and fresh tasting. They have a few picnic tables outside for people to eat at. Highly recommend, I’d come everyday if I lived in Maine.
