This is my FAVORITE place to go on the weekend after a long and hard workweek! It has a therapeutic, calming environment that eases my stress. My favorite drink is the Hawthorn Fog - hot or cold. I am SO HAPPY for the opportunity to go to The Hawthorn Tree! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

As a travel nurse, I like to find local places in each new area I work in. Stumbled upon this cute little tea shop and gift shop. Teas are delicious and fresh made. Coffee is pretty limited. They have pre-made food options which are decent. I had to take a few stars away because of the soup. Can't say if it's good or not because every time I try to get it, they don't have it available. The first time was a Monday at 4pm after work. The woman working said they stop serving at 3pm because of health safety concerns, and if I come in any time before 3 I'll be able to get soup. Went in the next day at 2:30pm and different woman working said they stop serving soup at 2pm. Went in today, Saturday, at 10am before embarking on a day trip, and was told they don't start serving soup until 11am. Extremely frustrating that the soup is inconsistently served and you have to just guess at what hours they'll have it based on who is working that day. A way to fix this is post your soup hours on your soup sign and have consistent hours daily. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
