I always walk by this place and I decided to try it this time. It’s a cute little 50s nostalgic diner. The inside has great 50s memorabilia and decor throughout. I was greeted right away and sat down. The menu was very inviting. There’s a lot of great items on the menu. I decided to get the hamburger steak with mushrooms, gravy, mashed potatoes, veggies, and a side salad with ranch. It didn’t take long for my food to come out. The hamburger steak which I wasn’t expecting. Had a piece of cheese on top of it. That she is kind a look like plastic. It didn’t even look real. The burger was a nice size, however, not much flavor. The only thing that truly had the flavor was the gravy. The vegetables weren’t frozen yet steamed, but no salt or any seasoning. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were boiled potatoes, mashed with water. The gravy, however, did make it taste more edible. As I was eating, there was a hair that I found underneath the burger that was sticking out. It took about five minutes before I can reach the server. He apologized, and I told him just to remake me a new plate. No need to complain. This is a Diner so I can expect too much. The service was good the food so so, but again it is a Diner food. I gave it a three star mainly because I found the hair in my food. Normally I would give it a one star finding here in my food but the service was good like I said, and so was the atmosphere. I’m not sure if I’ll try this place again, however, everybody deserves a chance. It might be a long time before I give it a chance.
