Great choice for dinner during our long journey. Quaint area, lots of options but we chose this place as we were looking for a varied menu. Service was fast and courteous and food came out super fast! Four of us dined, we had vinegar crisps as an appetizer then fish & chips, steak & ale pie, fish tacos and a steak dipper sandwich. Love this place. The service is always fast and friendly. The food is super! Irish Egg rolls are a must every time. The peanut butter cheesecake is a great dessert as well (great for two of you can make yourself share it!) Every time we have family out to visit we always take them here at least once. What a wonderful gem on the Western slope! This place was a surprise - not a small town mom and pop feel, but a major city kind of restaurant located in a bustling downtown area. The food was exquisite and well-made. Each dish was packed full of flavor. The service was friendly and the eating space was large and inviting, but enough room to relax and enjoy. Fish and chips was to die for and Irish egg rolls are never a bad choice. I would return to try more dishes. If you're really hungry in GC this is the place to go to be satisfied. The Goat and Clover is one of my husband and I's favorite places to eat. We love the atmosphere, the service, and the food is superb! We went there for lunch for my husband's 30th birthday and the complimentary slice of cake they brought him was HUGE and tasted like if a snickers bar was turned into a cake. Our boys also really enjoy the kids menu! Some places serve the kids "kraft" mac and cheese but here they get a large serving of homemade. I highly recommend going here for lunch when it's a little less busy! *Here again for dinner! Still awesome. The Irish coffee is delicious, the housemate gaff whipped cream is so good.
