I had been told by a local winery that I should expect slow service but that this place has terrific pizza. I met the owner, Crockett Keller upon my arrival and after using their clean restroom I sat down. I sat a long time and waited. A homeless-looking man walked by me. I tried to flag him down but he replied "I'm just the dishwasher!" Eventually, Mr. Keller himself took my order, and later I discovered that cups of water or soda were self-service. When the pizza arrived it was large, with the right amount of toppings. Regrettably, it was merely edible. My guess is that cheddar cheese and salsa were used instead of mozzarella cheese and pizza sauce. When asked I told Mr. Keller that the meal was good to be polite.
