Our family comes here once a year when we visit. This time, two of us split the low country boil and it was fantastic! Definitely have to be ready to roll up your sleeves and peel the shrimp, but flavors were excellent! Would be even better if for a few $ more the shrimp were peeled & deveined. Sides comes in small plastic cups. We sat in the quieter side but the outdoor patio area with live music looked like the place to be! After going on a guided fishing trip with Miss Judy’s fishing charters, I brought my freshly caught fish to this restaurant to cook up. This is such an amazing option for people just travelling through the area. The atmosphere has that awesome beach vibe I was craving and the customer service was friendly and helpful. The fish was cooked perfectly. My favourite is a toss between the fried and blackened seasoning. I would have loved to try more on the menu - guess it just means I’ll have to come back! Wait Staff is too busy at the Inside Bar on their phones Eating and talking laying their heads down on the Counter.Cant believe I have witnessed this more then 2 times in the same week. I give the wait staff a (2) Hopefully the owner will have a meeting with his wait staff ladies and give them a wake up call. They aren’t doing the customers any favors by their actions! I had shrimp salad sandwich on toasted whole wheat( came with a sm bag of reg Lays potatoe chips)and a garden salad with house made ranch dressing. It has been a minute since I frequented this charming spot, but I was reminded why I love it! It has such a friendly and inviting atmosphere with great TVs to watch whatever sport you’re following - college hoops and golf today. The service is fantastic and the food is really delicious and affordable. One of the best mahi sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. And a great craft beer and cocktail menu. Highly recommend! The cheese sticks were great. Tasted homemade. I got the Mahi sandwich and my husband the chicken sandwich. Both were good. I would say 4 stars for food/atmosphere but giving them 5 because they are so dog friendly. Dogs are not only allowed, they’re welcomed in the covered patio and bar area. They brought them a bowl of water and some fresh hush puppies- no charge!

I imagine this place is normally very busy. We visited on a Thursday for lunch in the off-season. Had Mike's Buffalo shrimp as an appetizer. Excellent 👌. Also tried the conch fritters. Didn't like them. The Shrimp Dinner was tasty and the portions are huge. My wife had the fried flounder and liked it. Order ToGo, got there on time based off what the website says. Fried Oysters were cold but tasty, the Buffalo Chicken sandwich for $17 was a thin piece of breast with cheese and a bun and that was it... it was tasteless. I promise I have never had a meal this well done!!! Apparently I have never had perfect scallops so this must be what they taste like because I love scallops and these taste nothing like I've tasted. I am sitting here hurting from fullness but over joyed I made the choice. If you want to know what to eat you MUST have the SCALLOPS Blackened! I give the chef a standing ovation if I could. Perfect meal for a perfect end to a perfect weekend getaway with my mother, which by the way, says her Flounder was really good. Thank you Flying Fish I will be back!!
