First timer here. I’ll definitely return! This was the best food I’ve had since visiting Charlotte and Greensboro NC. They has a lot of food choice for breakfast. I tried the bowl. It comes with grits and your choice of four proteins/veggies. I got the salmon and turkey bacon and It was amazing. The grits were cooked to perfection and the protein was chopped up with an egg on top. The home made biscuits were so good with apple butter. Service was attentive and fast! Visited The Flying Biscuit (Matthews) on a Saturday at 12:30pm and was seated 5 mins after arriving (despite the restaurant being busy). I ordered chicken and waffles, my husband ordered chicken sausage and gravy, and my daughter had the waffle kids meal. Our food was literally in front of us in less than 10 mins. Everything was hot and cooked to perfection. Our waiter was prompt and attentive. The Flying Biscuit got us in and out without slacking!! We will definitely visit again!
