So yummy! So crispy, not greasy, huge servings. Perfect crinkle cut French Fries. I wasn't a fan of the coleslaw but everything can't be perfect. It has a weird spice of some sort that I didn't like and it was a little dry. However it was cubed instead of long strips of cabbage which made it easier to eat. I can't wait to go back tomorrow to get the Clam chowder. We came back for the chowder. They used smoked clams. Oh so good. Then came back for the bag of fish the next day, took that home and used it to make fish tacos at the camper. My new favorite place to eat when we are camping at Ft Stevens. Fantastic fish and chips. Got the sampler and was not disappointed! I am totally into the tuna! Everything was fried so well and service was amazing. They even threw in some free drinks for us at the end. Thanks so much! No indoor dining area. What can I keep saying about these wonderful folks in our tiny community? They go above and beyond and have the best deals on fish n chips, tacos, etc of the area. Went to after seeing Peter Iredale, the owner was AMAZING! He was working by himself and said it would be a little bit of a wait, but it was only about 15mins till our food came out. When we ordered the combo the owner mentioned it was a lot of food and he was right. We got lots of food that could feed a family of four at a great price! Along with a free soda. Best fish ‘n chips ever! Forgot to take a pix until I was half finished with my meal. Great, friendly guys behind the counter who obviously care about their food and their customers. I got the rock fish & chips - one piece of fish that is huge, great homemade tartar sauce and cold slaw. I will definitely be back to try the fish tacos. Drove the 3 and a half hour trip from Bremerton Washington for these fish tacos and found out they serve monster shrimp in their shrimp and chips basket. This place is a must if stopping in or traveling near Astoria. I promise you won't regret it... and pay the $1 for the extra tartar sauce. Excellent fresh fish and chips, tried the cod and tuna, both were light, flakey and delicious. Cole slaw is just ok, fries are solid. Portions are massive (2000 calamities easily), making the prices a great deal. Better to split an order unless your starving. Seating is ok, kind of loud with Main Street right there. These were some of the best fish & chips we’ve had! Even my 6 year old who usually doesn’t eat fish said he loved it! We got the $25 combo and it was more than enough to feed our family of 5. Also, the employees (or owners?) were so kind! Our toddler was a little fussy when walking in and she immediately offered all of our kids goldfish snacks! Super kind. We’ll be back!
