I had the fried fish. Its better than the midwestern Lenten fish fries. 😎 My wife had the blackened fish. Very good! Homemade coleslaw and tarter sauce. I was told the cocunut shrimp was the bomb! Excellent fish spot! Hubby had fish and chips which he ate every bite and I had the Salmon with garlic butter. The side salad was surprisingly good, rice was cooked great and the combo of it all was perfection. Salmon tasted fresh and the sauce was spot on. I asked for it to be cooked medium which it was. Next time I’ll get it medium rare. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Food was fresh and cooked just right! We have a variety of fish and steak. Service was friendly and was quicker for any that we have had in town, especially given the complexity of the dishes. From order to table, it was 30 mins. The restaurant was clean as well. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Delicious fish, be sure to check the board when you go in, not everything is on the printed menu. We saw no locals in here but tons of expats. Fish and chips were solid, I had the snapper in garlic sauce which was very tasty, but I expect was frozen at one point. My wife had the grouper with papaya and jalapeno and it was definitely the star of the show and what earned 5 instead of 4 stars. Perfectly cooked, delicious, and not something we could have ordered at home in the states.

Small place but comfortable atmosphere. The salmon with garlic lemon sauce with excellent! They ask you how you want the salmon cooked. That is something I was never asked back in the states. The dish came with rice and a salad for $12.95. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Fairly good and inexpensive food. We both had mahi mahi; one was made with a lemon caper sauce and the other was battered a fried. Both pieces of fish were slightly on the dry side. Coleslaw was very mayo and pepper heavy. The place was very clean, food and drinks were served quickly and the staff was friendly. It is also right along side the river so you can have a meal with a view. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

I am sorry to leave a bad review for a place that has so much potential. My first two meals at the Fish House were great. I also enjoyed the margaritas, they had plenty of tequila in them. However, something has happened. The food does not taste the same. My last fish dish came out cold and the patacones were dried out like rocks. The onion rings were ice cold and mostly burned. Even the margarita seemed to be less enjoyable, but it could be due to the fact that I was not having a pleasant experience to begin with. I will say they have very good service and very nice people. Unfortunately, you need good food to complete the experience . Not sure I will frequent there again but you never know when I may want to try another Margarita or two. I didn't use the bathroom but everything seemed clean. Felt like someone's home which was nice and seems like it stays full because there are only a few tables. I had the Lemon fish which was not overcooked and had a nice sauce, the fish and chips were hot and nicely battered. I didn't try it, but someone at our table had the coconut shrimp which was most certainly dead. Here, and in a few other Boquete restaurants, the cole slaw is more like chowder and I liked it, but not everyone is so fond of that soupy quality. I will go back.

Great fish and chips special! Beer was ice cold, service was fast and attentive. Honestly impressed with how good the batter was on the fish. Yummy coleslaw and great portion of patacones and side salad. Meal type Dinner Price per person PAB 10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Recommended dishes Salad
