Whilst the fish and chips are absolutely delicious, the service is shocking. When I walked in there were three staff members, one at the front and two at the back ready to cook. All three were in their phones. The lady took my order and shouted it to the cooks at the back, they were so engrossed in their phones they didn't hear her. The guy started cooking our fish and was talking away on his phone the WHOLE time.....not very hygienic in my opinion. To be honest if I hadn't already paid for my order I would have walked out. The owner needs to be more hands on so he can see what his staff get up to. Service Take out Price per person R 100–150 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

By far the worst service I have ever received at a fish and chips Co establishment... The staff have terrible attitude They are extremely slow they talk more than they serve customers It's like they don't know what they are doing... Less than 1 star. Service is shocking as if they are doing the customers a favour (you know what, there are many other places to buy excellent fish and chips and you get a smile with it as well), the food is horrible, fish cakes were stone rock hard (can be used as a projectile). Once bitten twice shy. Won't return to this place again. What is even more shocking, there are so many reviews with complaints but nothing gets done about it, OWNER OF THE STORE, are you not concerned??? Let's see if this review gets their attention.

They still make the best Russian and chips. Their prices are really good! Lunch time we always go get slap chips and Russian or fish. Love it.

I am extremely disappointed with the service for a week ive been asking for onion rings. Last time no Calamari. I phoned 20 minutes ago the guy said sure onion rings will be ready. Got there 20mi.later he is standing with 2 onions. Ridiculous. Take Calamari and onion rings of your menu. You don't have them you don't serve it. Stop misleading people. It is unacceptable and I will Never call on you again. Bad attitudes, bad service. Overpriced. Just don't be in business or get some people who can actually do the job. Not one store all of them. Disgraceful. I gave you guys 2 years of grace.
