Got in pretty quickly this morning before the late morning rush. Our waitress was awesome. We have typically come here about once a year and I always end up getting the Black & Bleu Benedict. I was wanted to try one of the blood orange mimosas but they were out so I settled for the Bora Bora. I wasn’t thrilled with it, the taste made me feel like I was drinking sunscreen-added a shot of pineapple juice and it was a little more palatable. When the Benedict came out, I had about half an egg shell mixed in mine, and the steak was overly chewy. I don’t think it will be my go-to order after today. Stopped in the restroom on my way out and it is usually very clean but today, it just had a very strong urine smell. ETA We returned today for lunch and it was a great overall experience. I had a Reuben and my girls had chicken and waffles. Everything was hot and delicious. The open bathrooms were clean and didn’t have an odor. We visited twice in a 6 day stay because the food was so good. Amazing breakfast and lunch meals and the food came out fresh and hot! Great drink specials every day of the week. It is a lively spot simply because it is so popular. Simply amazing food and the service was efficient and cheerful! I highly recommend! We are visiting friends and decided to do something different so we headed to The Egg Bistro, it was a 35 minute wait, but we were sat sooner than expected. The atmosphere was great, the “Mary, Mary” Bloody Mary was amazing and a meal all on its own. Our server Sunia was amazing! She was so kind and greeted us with a smile as soon as we sat down. I was very impressed with her serving skillls, she was very busy, but very attentive to all her tables! The food is great! I recommend the chicken and biscuit and also the chicken and waffles. It is very popular so there is almost always a long wait.
