We had a surprise birthday party here for about 100 people. The food was excellent, staff were polite, and personable. Anything we needed was provided quickly. We could not have had a better experience. I would recommend using The Downtown Eatery to anyone looking for a great event spot, excellent food, and super staff. We went at lunch time. We were seated in a reasonable amount of time. Server took forever to take our order. When we did get our food my wife’s food was Luke warm and mine was not as I had ordered. My wife was supposed to get a salad with her meal and it was never brought! We asked the waitress about the salad and she said we could get it to go but that’s not an option due to us being so far from home. We let the cashier know about the service and not getting what we had ordered. She apologized and rang up our full ticket price and never even offered a discount for not getting all of our food.
