Hi. I came here around a few days after Christmas. I'm only writing the review now, 1/31/24. The cheesecurds were ordered, but weren't the best, as the menu said. The dipping sauce was the best frankly, a raspberry sauce. The bill was very high, for what we ordered, and I was shocked! For two people, I've never paid $50-60! And I come from Crystal /Minneapolis, MN, but am quite frugal. Here's pictures of the menu and food to help you out! Great waitress! The parking lot was sooo dark, I thought it was terribly unsafe. But hopeful it's been updated since I came. Yes I take pictures of the bathroom, because my mom needs the bars in the stalls, and so I think it's important for others to know they are there too! Stopped by for a quick meal. The food was average. We ordered a burger with onion rings, chicken strips and frys and the Cuban sandwich. Also had the salad bar and the "award winning" cheese curds. Nothing we had was so amazing that I would order it again. Would I eat here again? Yes. But I would try different things. The service was great the restaurant was clean and food came out quickly. My hamburger steak was char broiled and served with fresh green beans and a foiled hot potato. Delicious. The salad bar is a nice offering but has room for improvement. Reasonable prices. Our group was up at Cuyuna doing some winter fat biking and we landed on The Deerstand as our dinner choice. Everyone in the group, teens and adults, had a good time. Good menu, friendly, patient staff and great vibe overall. We will be back next year for sure!! Video arcade was a hit with the kiddos.

I love their homemade thin crust pizza!! They made the crispy thin crust the tomato sauce and it was loaded with cheese. It’s now my favorite pizza in Minnesota. Parking lot was gravel and relatively flat. Restaurant is on the 2 floor with a ramp available. They have outside dining but it was closed when we arrived at 7pm on Friday. Excellent food. Large portions. Nice salad bar ($4 with purchase of another menu item). There's a deck on the back for dining when weather permits. Beach volleyball court outside. A couple of video games for the kids. About 8 tap beers, including some craft beers. Large dining area inside along with large screens to watch sports games.

Great stop along the way up to the lake. Good selection of beer and amazing food! The salad bar is a great plus, great selection and fresh veggies. I will be coming back.
