This place is really good. I ordered the shrimp and fish with tater tots. I was a little concerned about this place being attached to a gas station but it wasn’t an issue at all. I am glad I went and can’t wait to go back.

I don't usually write reviews, but I have to give The Dawg House a huge shout out.
I've visited this establishment a fair amount of times since the beginning of 2023, and I can say every time I've visited I've gotten hot delicious food, served by the loveliest and kindest people, and have been surrounded by other customers who are having a great time. I tend to get carry out because the place can be a little loud and cramped, but that's a byproduct of running a good business with plenty of return customers.
The dining room is kept clean, the veggies are always fresh, the portion sizes are generous and the prices are the definition of fair. They have a nice variety of sodas at the fountain, including Jarritos and Cheerwine, as well as great sweet tea.
They have a pretty vast menu but from what I've tried over the year, you can't go wrong with any of it. If you're on the fence, the Double Bark Burger or ANYTHING with their fried shrimp are certified home runs.
If you're on a lunch break I would consider calling in your order ahead, they cook everything fresh and their level of attention to detail deserves a few more minutes of patience. By no means are they slow, but they're not slinging food out of the kitchen like a fast food joint.
Give this place a shot, you'll be back before you know it. Bring your appetite, and bring a friend. This local legend deserves all the support it can earn.

Chicken Wings
I brought my mother here who is a really tough critic. She gave it a 10/10 . Burger seasoning may be slightly on the saltier side. However overall I find being able to taste the seasoning adds to authenticity of eating a real Hand Made Burger 🍔. I order two Jr. big Burger add Cheese and Bacon just tomatoes 🤤 it came out beautiful ❤️😍 the Burgers are automatically Medium Well. Just ask. I got well done for my mother who is very hard to please. And she said it was really good no pink and not burnt

Needed a cheap bite and stumbled across this place. I got the Chicago dog and the new York dog. Both were so amazing. I grew up going to hot dog shops in Chicago and I felt right at home here. The staff were so friendly and checked in on us.

I ordered my sandwich was very salty and had a lot of garlic. That hotdog was very cold and they messed up my order.,, I ordered three hotdogs they only gave 1 .,. I had to wait another 5 to 8 minutes for them to give me the other 2hotdogs they were cold As well..,.
