We went for dinner tonight. There was only one other couple there. Service was great, food was delish, and prices were reasonable for the portions. Our waitress Heather was sweet and personable. We left with so much leftover.
We were excited to try out this restaurant since it opened back up with new owners. They don’t use the same recipes as the previous owners but the food is good. I really liked the ropa vieja and the empanadas. I liked atmosphere and the music they play.

It was like going to eat food at your aunties house! Delicious, home cooking and plenty of food!! Waiter was definitely new but very sweet! Looking forward to their full menu being available! They had just opened and were limited.

"It's now open " and under new owners. The food was amazing 😍
And a new menu. We will come back and try a different plate they do have mixed drinks . And a bar to sit down and just have a drink or two. Forgot to take pictures of my plate. But next time I will take pictures. call all food gourmet people if you are looking for the taste of Cuba go to The Cuban and premium Bar Restaurant. And they will be serving breakfast very soon too.

Excellent food, warm and inviting atmosphere. Heather our server was very attentive. The shrimp entree was delicious! Flautas and guacamole are also a good choice as an entree meal. Definitely will be returning!!

Delicious! After living in the Miami area for 30 years, we've been searching for good cuban food in Texas. I think we finally found it! The service was friendly, the food was fresh and authentic, and the environment was clean and well themed. We'll definitely be back, and if you're reading this, then you should check it out. Don't skip dessert. The flan was incredible!

Valentine's Day with the worst Service and food in my entire life, and it happened to several neighboring tables, I don't like to give bad reviews, but the truth is that this is three stars and not one for the simple fact that It was clean and the servers, despite being terrible and incompetent, were at least polite and humble, but not the manager, perhaps completely overwhelmed by the situation and her absolute lack of control over what she was doing. I really don't recommend it, they have gotten much worse than the original, which was not mediocre, but for the conceited neighborhood in which it already served to make them believe they were cosmopolitan, now not even that...
The food was great, it was only a partial menu because they’d just opened, but the appetizers, drinks, and food was delicious. The service was good but you can tell the employees have just started. The place is very cozy and welcoming and the food is very authentic and flavorful. The only thing I’d change is there should definitely be more options and leniency on substitutions. Thats just my personal take but overall it was very good and its budget friendly! 🙌

We feasted there. My Cuban friend said it can’t get more Cuban and my friend who has been to Havana said, it is hard to find anything close to how good this is unless you fly to Miami or Havana. I feasted! Great food. Great flavours and quality. Amazing service.
Authentic Cuban cousine in Friendswood, TX. If this place was serving dishes in Miami, they would compete very well. Perhaps better service than Miami too 🤷♂️
The highlights were the Caribbean Shrimp appetizer and the plantains, but it was all tasty. We will be back soon to try some other dishes.
Protip: They have daily specials, so ask to hear about them when you are seated.
