The wine list is extensive, it can satisfy the needs of all clients. Most visitors indicate that the staff is appealing. Service at this bar is something one can call nice. Here you will pay democratic prices. There is a spectacular atmosphere and homey decor at The Crimson House. Google users are quite generous with this place: it was granted 4.5 stars.

Our sever was great! We went there with two other friends and we all really enjoyed our dinner. They had seating outside in the front of the restaurant which was great for us because we had our dog with us in her stroller. I had the crab cake which was basically all crab meat and absolutely sumptuous! The chef had prepared it twice for me because the first time she wasn’t delighted enough with the preparation so it came out late but still worth the wait and I wasn’t charged for that item. Read through the menu and was very excited to give this a try. I hate to give such a bad review for a place. Walked into a modern beautifully designed restaurant and sitting areas, with a nice bar, and history of the building showing through with brick and wood tastefully. Ordered a Lobster roll, sundried tomato chicken pasta, crab dip, and charcuterie board. Pros- the restaurant is a beautiful and great fit for a romantic evening out with significant other. The drinks look skillfully made, bar is nice, overall It's quiet, and feels like you're far away from the hustle and bustle of a city. The bread on the crab dip was really good, The cons- the food is not that great. When I go to a place like this I expect to receive a meal I couldn't prepare at the same level at home, but that didn't happen here. The Lobster roll was OK, but lots of mayo, the pasta was supposedly sundried tomato chicken and sauce, had no sundried tomato flavor at all. Very heavy handed on the cream sauce, instead of being lathered, it was bathed and soaking in this heavy cream nightmare. The chicken was good, but there was really no depth of flavors, no story to write about. Lastly, the charcuterie board.. I mean, just look at the pictures I posted. At $18, you expect some exotic meats and cheese, this should be called some meat and cheese, save the enticing name of "charcuterie board" for something else. The meat was lacking in real flavor, had some that were just tasteless until I added the cheese. Overall, just could've been better and for the cost, would've had a nicer presentation and more flavor from a grocery store. crab dip was full of fillers, lots of imitation taste and left me feeling quite disappointed. All in all, I gave it a 2 star based on food. A 3 star to me is an average place, nothing remarkable, you get 3. This, the place was perfect, and I really wanted to love it, but the food fell flat of expectations and flavor. Big portions but food wasn’t amazing. It also took a long time to get. Place is really cool though, with a nice game room upstairs. The service was great though, even with the long cook times, drinks were fast and taking the orders was done quick. Nice, cozy place. The service was great. The food was good- I had chicken Tenders and Caesar Salad. I would come back again when in town and try some other dishes since the menu looks fairly extensive. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Finally had the chance to dine here. My husband and I went on a Wednesday, taco night! He had the birria tacos and I had a flatbread. Our appetizers and his meal same out quickly, however my flatbread was a good 20 minutes after my husband was done eating. Our waitress was very apologetic and removed my meal from the bill, which was very much appreciated. The flatbread was worth the wait, it was delicious! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary, we enjoyed delicious food, drinks and the staff was wonderful!! Highly recommend! Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Loved the dinner here. They had gluten free options for my wife who has Celiacs. Staff was friendly and helpful. The fried brussel sprouts were amazing. Nice location and a good bar menu as well. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
We stopped in after some word of mouth suggestions that this was a good place to check out and they were right! Though the menu felt a little bit lacking, we ended up loving the Pad Thai with its eclectic brussels sprouts and asparagus. The atmosphere was alright, the service was okay.
My family had the brunch buffet on Easter, and it was wonderful. I wasn't expecting much from a restaurant in downtown Pottsville, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was great, and the buffet included everything I would ever consider ordering for breakfast. The service was also excellent. The restaurant itself is much, much bigger than I expected it to be. Before we got there, I pictured us trying to cram into a small table in an overcrowded bar area, but the dining areas were spacious and plenty big enough for a large group. Much of the architecture and decor seemed to be original to when the structures were built many many years ago. It was all really neat to see. I highly recommend The Crimson House. I would definitely go there again.
