NY Review here. I mean, they nailed it 90%. I obviously got a BEC SPK. They add a smashed Red Potato to the sandwich which is like adding a home fry I suppose, but I did get it cause if it's free it's me.. it was a good addition, and I am not judging because a Hungry Man Hero on LI has breakfast Potatoes. The biggest obstacle is the Kaiser Roll. No fluoride in the water down here, so hard to get that flaky crust. The obstacle was overcome by toasting the Roll NICELY. I really have to say they came as close as I could expect. The Eggs were PERFECT, cooked till the center hits that gooey stage, not dripping. They the yellow part hits that melty cheese combo.. *Chefs kiss*. $10 for a the sandwich... Honestly I was already angry at the price, but the roll was pretty big, and they did NOT SKIMP on bacon. It was, Hardy.. And I am 6'4 350. One sandwich hit nicely for breakfast. I came with DOUBTS! The price had me SHOOK... but after eating it, I gotta say, if you need that BECSPK and you miss home, this will take you there for sure. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Counter in Mooresville is like finding an oasis in the desert of the Charlotte deli scene! I had the Herculean task of catering for my 100+ strong, ravenous office crew. Let me tell you, ordering from The Counter? Easier than convincing my cat to nap. And talk about accommodating - they handled our dietary restrictions like a ninja handles nunchucks. My staff is now buzzing like bees in spring, constantly asking, ‘When’s the next Counter feast?’ The star of the show? The Godfather Sangweech. This behemoth of a sandwich is so meaty, it could bench press more than I do. And the house-made pastrami sandwich - folks, people were swooning over it like teenagers at a boy band concert. The bread, oh, the bread! It’s like biting into a cloud, if clouds were tasty and not just water vapor. Next up, I’m eyeing their Lox Extraordinaire. I expect it’ll be like a symphony in my mouth. So, a big thank you to The Counter for jazzing up the Charlotte food scene. Our taste buds are forever in your debt!
