This is an absolute must for anyone! An amazing experience from the moment we arrived. The outdoor seating area is tastefully decorated and surrounded by small shops selling arts and crafts. There is even a delightful children's area where they can paint and entertain themselves. The food was absolutely divine! I highly recommend trying the Harvest Table. All dishes are served buffet-style while Chef Tam was close-by to answer any questions. Everything was cooked to perfection and I have never tasted better sweet potatoes anywhere in the world. I would recommend booking ahead of arrival.

This is an artsy little café that is certainly worth checking out, especially after working around a bit in the surrounding area. I had a lovely cup of coffee and a yummy portion of flapjacks. Thabang (I think is his name) is a cool waiter. Attentive, but not overwhelming. Friendly. Just awesome. The coffee and the flapjacks were aaaaamzing.

Very cool spot and would highly recommend. Dirty chai latte was top notch 👌. The array of deserts is amazing, we had the apple crumble which was loovely, but there are so many options to choose, from cheesecake to chocolate brownie!

Absolutely amazing!😍 It was everything we hoped it would be. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived and ofcourse had to try all the food that was put out😅 Everything was just so tasty, my favorite was definitely the lamb chops and stuffed chicken although everything was fresh and tasty.🥰🥰 The staff along with the owners are all lovely people and engaged with us quite a bit.😄 The entire look and feel of the restaurant was relaxing. We definitely recommend The Collective and can't wait to go back. 🤩

Tasteful gift shop with a café & leafy courtyard inside. The ambience was lovely & the service attentive. There's also a lunch buffet (self-service, which they whey for you) with trays being refilled regularly. We only had coffees but would love to come back.

The mash potatoes was the star on the menu of the day. Fresh, wholesome and nutritious meal options which varies every week, this gem serves as a good spot to enjoy a tasty and fresh homestyle meal. You add what you want from the selection, they weigh your plate, and you enjoy your tastey meal in the serene courtyard.

Loved the outside area with the harvest table. Beautiful and so differant. Friendly helpful staff. I will be back for more. The "shop" has a wide variety of locally made gifts available. Choice is very good, but maybe a little pricy (it's hout bay nothing is cheap!)

A great cafe with fresh, tasty and balanced cuisine. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is familiar and relaxed. Once again, a personal thank you to Nessia - she made my stay even sweeter with her natural kindness and excellent service.
