Went to Cheesecake to eat dinner. Waited for about 30 minutes. Ordered food to go but decided to eat at the restaurant. Sat down and waited for a server to walk by so I could order a beverage. Saw quite a few servers walk by and assisted other customers. However, it appeared that I was ignored. I even looked right at a few and they just seemed not to care. It was quite blatant. I was definitely not pleased. This location has staff that think they are entitled. Not a good job at all Valencia. Need to improve on your training to provide a good customer service experience. The only bright spot was that the food was good. Yet, it was difficult to enjoy without having a drink that I never received. After about 30 minutes of eating, I just walked out. My experience was mostly good all the way around. My only complaint is that they've been skimping on the sauce lately. But I've noticed this same trend at their other locations as well. My wife and I got the Louisiana chicken pasta and while in the past they have usually been very generous with the sauce, as of recently they have not. I think this was probably a corporate decision to save money, but unfortunately this negatively affects the quality of the dish. On the plus side, the service at this location was excellent, as they had no issues providing extra sauce at our request. Hopefully their other locations follow suit with this type of service. Visited Cheese Cake Factory last weekend here in Valencia to enjoy lunch with my 3 kids and my wife. The food is really good and service is just fine with no hassle. I used the $50 gift card that I got from our friend and pretty much just added a $40 gratuity tip on the bill. Everyone is happy. I plan to go back again possibly next month to enjoy the fruit of thy labor. Wide open restaurant with tons of space. Lots of tables indoor and outdoor. The bar are is a decent size too. For all the table and people eating, I didn’t get the jammed pack vibe. Spacing of tables is great. We started off with the avocado egg rolls. Those were very yummy. It was shy of $17.00. For my drink, I ordered a pineapple mule. The turnaround time to get my drink wasn’t good. I’d give it 20 min and that is being generous. To top it off, the drink wasn't good. I had about 3 sips and left it. My guest ordered a Mac and cheeseburger rare. The burger was cooked as requested and the taste was yummy. The fries were perfectly salted and crispy. I have the seared ahi tuna with rice. It was good but I wouldn’t order it again. It was too sweet. Finally dessert!!! I had the banana cream cheesecake. Light and fluffy, yet at the same time rich and creamy.
