Was an amazing experience. Just kinda sad I had to order an extra side of hashbrowns after they added bacon to my no bacon skillet and took some of the hash away 😪(big potatohead) . But otherwise the food was amazing and the service was on point. Love the homey atmosphere 👌 makes it a relaxing experience when you are away from home . Light live music playing. Great food! Good place to meet with Friends. If the captions did not come through, the pictures don't do justice! Especially the French toast. My friend said it was Delicious! She had it half gone before I grabbed a picture, but when it came to the table, it was edible art! I loved the pile of shaved ham vs. the typical thick-cut you get on the Eggs Benedict! I had it delivered and it was delicious. Pretty prompt cooking, which was immensely appreciated. 🙏 Looking forward to coming in and trying their other stuff even more fresh than what I had. I came in with some friends and my fiancee. First time eating here, service was wonderful, I didn't know what to expect, being a cook of almost 10 years I can be a little nitpickie but... the food was absolutely amazing. The food is very good! I have gone a few times, with various groups - family, friends, business. Atmosphere is like most breakfast/lunch diners. They do have beautiful local artwork and photographs displayed that are for sale. As for service - If you get the right server, service is a 5+... If you don't, it's a 3-. Very casual hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Off downtown, but incredibly friendly. I ordered the "BBB", the Basic Barrel Breakfast, with a ham steak. All of it was phenomenal, especially the red "house" potatoes! My server Shannon recommended them, and they are definitely tasty. Unique seasoning, and not dried out. I highly recommend this restaurant. As a Casper local, I'm proud to see local establishments like the Cheese Barrel stepping up and providing awesome experiences in our community.
