Something has changed. Gone is the musty, used carpet odor. The space is uncluttered and inviting. The staff is friendly. The drinks are poured properly. The uncontrollable drunken patrons are absent. It's nice. I am looking forward to giving these guys my money. However, it's time to upgrade the POS. Gone are the days of holding credit/debit cards hostage. Upgrade, my friends. Upgrade. Price per person $100+ Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Well, just a small little bar. Had a live band. And the mix drinks were good. Got an outside smoking area too. Price per person $20–30 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

There is nothing on this side of town so I just keep trying here but the bartender on Saturday night, May 13th just really hit it out of the park in bad attitude. Bartending is a special skill set that requires actual personality and character. Stay home if you're life is so miserable that you need to act like you're doing your customers a favor.

Best bar around statesville by far. Never seen a bad band there. And always a good crowd. Love that the owner is always there with a smiling face.
5 stars for the bar staff and the owner! Karaoke host gets 1 star. She had a beautiful voice, but she didn't understand her job. She played terrible versions of songs for the guests and never made adjustments to make them sound better. She does not understand her job. Any robot/monkey can punch in as song choice. It takes a good sound person to be a good karaoke host. Speaking from experience.

A nice layed back bar! The bar is beautiful and the workers are great! They have different nights, music bingo, bike night, one with a band and more. Definitely my favorite that's around! They have a nice outdoor area out back if you don't want to sit inside!
We usually go on Thursday afternoon or Friday evening. We are early in early out. Never a bad experience! Fun and enjoyable. We usually meet someone new each time we go. (We love Hannah! ) We appreciate that the owner always speaks if he happens to come in while we are there. We always feel like our visit is appreciated. That doesn’t always happen at most places. I’m not going to change the first part of my review because when it was great it was GREAT. Now, SCS sucks. All the good bartenders are gone. Drinks are 1/2 shot or less. I have watched the new girls pour a drink and then I have ask for a shot. I know exactly how much of a pour is correct. 1/2 shot in a glass is not correct. We leave a generous tip, and we have spent money in this place. I don’t drink beer - so for the love of business give me a decent drink. Don’t give some people a huge shot and others a little shot. Yes I WAS WATCHING the pours. Today at the SCS there was a new bar tender. Her boyfriend was there- she propped up on the counter and sat behind the bar and had a long conversation with him and acted all lovey dovey. She was not friendly and looked like a fish out of water. Most people were laughing and whispering that she was a stripper. This is not what we came for. How ridiculous. This was a place that new people, young people, middle aged, and everyone no matter what came out to have a few drinks, and listen to music, and have a great time Please don’t destroy a good bar with inexperienced people. We left Troutman today because Chrissa was there giving out itty bitty shots. She doesn’t even know what she is doing and appears high.
