About
Cooks at this bar do their best to provide guests with good fillet steaks, lobster mac and cheese and veal. Nothing can be better than eating perfectly cooked crème brûlée, cheesecakes and chocolate cakes. Most likely, you'll come back to The Capital Grille later to try delicious champagne, beer or michelada. This place is known for great coffee. This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Affordable prices are something that should be noted about this spot. You will definitely appreciate the pretty atmosphere and nice decor. This bar is ranked 4.6 within the Google grading system.

Ambience was great but food was subpar. I ordered NY strip steak medium rare and they got me rare which they fixed for me later. It wasn’t tasty and worth the price. Crab cake was good. We ordered Sea bass as well but it was disappointing. Overall, It wasn’t worth the price for us. We went to this place looking at the reviews. I guess we had a bad day? but for the price you expect consistency in food quality. I’ve loved wildfire and seasons 52 better than this.
A fun time! Mark S. provided exceptional service (which is key for me) & tasty cocktails! Meal type Dinner

Fancy and delicious. This is the third state in the US that I've gone to a Capital Grille, and they are all the same. The minimum dress code is business casual, and they even change your napkin color to match your attire. We chose this night for our wedding anniversary. The place was packed, and the service was top-notch. I've always enjoyed the steaks here, but I was happy to hear that they had South African lobster tail in stock. If you have never had it, it is my favorite lobster, and it can be described like a fusion of Maine lobster and Rock lobster flavors in one. Ditkas used to have this rare type quite often at the downtown Chicago and Arlington heights locations. I was able to get one at the Oakbrook site once when I called ahead for reservations. Anyways, I am happy to say that Capital Grille had it in stock and it was prepared well. I recently dined at Capital Grille and had a mixed experience. The appetizers and bread were fantastic, setting a high expectation for the rest of the meal. I ordered the bone-in New York steak medium, but it arrived rare. Despite this, the steak was still flavorful and enjoyable. However, my experience with our server, Cassie, was less than stellar. While she was efficient in serving our food and ensuring our drinks were refilled promptly, her attitude left something to be desired. When I sought her advice on choosing between two steaks and two drinks, her response was dismissive, implying that it was solely my preference, without offering any helpful suggestions. This interaction was surprising and somewhat disappointing, given the restaurant's reputation for excellent service. Cassie's approach to answering questions and her overall demeanor felt snappy and came off as unhelpful. While I appreciate the promptness and accuracy in the service provided, the lack of warmth and hospitality was notable. In summary, while the food at Capital Grille remains commendable, the service experience can significantly impact the overall dining experience. I hope for future visits that all staff members will match the high quality of the food with equally high-quality service.
