We enjoy a Dive Bar and this did not disappoint. Saturday afternoon was our first visit.Greeted with a smile and some regulars made space for us at the bar. Nice selection of Drafts , spirits and wine. Great service by staff. Wife had Italian Beef and with the hot giardiniera it was close enough to Chicago to make you smile. Burger was good , friends had flatbread pizza special and Salad all where satisfying. A lot of foot traffic for grabbing food and a beer and see you next time. Pool tables on site also. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have to be honest, the reason I give it a 4 star (even though the food and atmosphere gets a 5 star) is that it depends on the night of the week that you stop in. I'm not a regular at this establishment, but have stopped in at different times and different days of the week. Depending on the bartending combo they have, depends on the service you get -- and they have 2 bars. A good example of this -- I stopped in on 2/19 around 7ish and the main bar was full so I went to the small bar. The bartender walked by multiple times and never asked if I needed anything or acknowledged me. The main bar (big bar) bartender told me to see him. I still had to wait for a beer, and the small bar bartender acknowledged people that came in after me. That being said, the nights I have stopped in when Carson and Stephanie were working, they complimented each other and no customer waited for service. All this said, it is a nice and friendly place to stop with good food and great atmosphere.
