I participated in a glow ball golf charity event for Wiregrass Animal Group, and it was fantastic. The food, facilities, and course were top-notch. If you have never played this course, you should.

Bridges at Tartan Pines Golf Course Who goes to a Golf Course to eat lunch or dinner; well, if you live in the Wiregrass area and are looking for delicious food prepared by a top notch Chef and kitchen staff in a cozy restaurant setting - The Bridges at Tarpan Pines is the right location. They have a great menu with options, to include a children’s menu; indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the water; and a full service bar. We typically go there on Friday’s for their Prime Rib dinner; and have also enjoyed the Texas Style BBQ plates on Saturdays - with the buffet style option on Wednesdays being a hit too. We’ve not been to the Sunday Brunch buffet - but have heard it is awesome. On the menu for us this past Friday were the Prime Rib dinners with potatoes and fresh asparagus; the Blackened Shrimp Kabobs with Mushroom Risotto and fresh vegetables, and the Southwest Chop Salad. The Prime Rib portion is generous and has a slight smoked taste, fits right in with the fresh horseradish sauce. The Shrimp Kabobs are two long skewers of Gulf Coast shrimp with a seasoned grill taste. On other occasions, we tried and recommend the Chicken Francese, a large chicken breast cooked to perfection in a lightly cream sauce on a bed of angel hair pasta and fresh vegetables; or the Skirt Steak with Chimichurri gently dusted across the top; or a lunch time Burger with Fries. Hard to imagine going to a golf course to eat, but at Tartan Pines it does have a two-in-one setting. The Pro Shop and golf on one side; and the restaurant / bar on the other side. Membership not required for either and open to the public. Pay them a visit and sit back and enjoy the view, sip a Classic Old Fashion, a glass of wine or refreshing Mixed Cocktail - even a cold draft beer while you wait for your food. Life does not get much better.

I had a surprise birthday party for my husband at the Bridges with about 60 people attending, this venue was perfect in every way! Beautiful place and beautiful view from the patio. The food was amazing, served beautifully and on time. Everyone at the party commented on how delicious the food. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Trey Andress, the general manager was very easy to work with. The porch was perfect for dinner and karaoke after! Thank you to everyone at the Bridges for helping us with the surprise and a night we will never forget.
Beautiful golf course and amazing restaurant. Perfect for leisure activities, fundraising events, meetings, parties & more! Lots of clinics and fun activities as well.
I’ve played here twice this past month and love it. The course layout is challenging and very scenic with all of the bridges between holes and hardwoods and pines lining the fairways. I would give the course condition a 4 out of 5 right now. It was December so the course wasn’t that green and but that’s expected in the winter. They have new Yamaha carts with GPS mapping of the course which is great having not played there a lot. The restaurant is great with a good menu and specials for brunch and dinner on the weekends. The food, carts, staff and course layout bumped it up to 5 stars for me.
The course was absolutely beautiful and in pristine condition. It’s just as hard as I remember it 15 years ago but a very good course. Some people may complain about the cost but you get what you pay for and they have done a great job. The only suggestion I would have is maybe add the hole layout on the score card for people unfamiliar with the course. I will definitely be back as much as I can afford. Probably won’t go many other places now. It’s just too convenient from my place. Great job guys. I’m hopeful for the longevity of the course.

Well kept. Carts are nice and quiet. Holes are designed nice. The bridges and marshes are unique and adds character.
