Was great to be back there and enjoy the platter. You get some homemade rosemary infused bread with some farm butter. Also you get some kudu salami as well as some homemade cheeses. Pickles and olives with feta also on the board. Great sharing meal. Wash this all down with your kraft beer of choice. A cider is also available. Rustic and chilled setting. Well done Andre!! So cool to be back after our last trip 9yrs ago. Not much has changed which is actually not a bad thing. Andre and his wife Yolande still own the Brewery and Andre is looking more "wise". great spot to sit outside and chill and try the different beers, ales and ciders; and decent selection of homemade cheeses with homemade breads. Well done guys was great to connect with you again. Walking distance from town (1km) across the suspension bridge. What a great afternoon! Lovely people people and great food and drink! We had some beers and a platter for two and we enjoyed it so much. We were there with our one year old twins and they loved all the animals there. Thank you for a great time! Service Dine in Meal type Other Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Always a favorite, we stop here every chance we get. Unfortunately they no longer do the beer taste trays due to loadshedding but if you are enough poeple they can see to assist as there will be no half bottles to leave in the fridge. The cheese platter with freshly baked bread is always favourite of us. There are various cheeses, kudu salami, olives, jams, pickled gherkins, soft cheese served with honey and one with sweet chilli sauce. A big variety! Such a cool little place. The honey beer is a must and goes really well with the cheese platter. Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the salami, think it was kudu, but definitely worth a visit.

A quite interesting experience where photo shoot and dinner blended with nice music and food. The beer tasting was interresting but not ceremonial. The atmosphere was very relaxed and it is a laidback setting with a charming feel. I enjoyed the honey ale... not being a beer enthusiast this says a lot.
