The pros of this place is service. Attentive servers and pays attention to their surrounding. Friendly too. Food wise is ordinary and expensive. The fries were overfried and the mushroom sauce was too thick (flour) and salty. Portion wise is alright but I would say not align to the price. Service wise was fast. If it wasn't too pricey, it would be more palatable. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Break delivers on its promise of "Food that heals, wholesome, homemade" with fresh cut french fries, heavenly mushroom soup, and absolute delights of their perfectly-battered fish and chips and chicken schnitzel. You'll feel like you're eating at a family picnic in a park. Absolutely recommended. Had a special designed menu for b'day dinner tonight. Worth every single cent. Got the meal started with a hot cup of oolong tea to warm up our stomach. Start with a savory smoked salmon and a bowl of roasted broccoli and spinach salad. 3 main courses- pan seared seabass, a medium lamb tendeloin, and a truffled creamy mushroom pasta. And clean our palate with a perfectly balance of sweet custard and berries. If you enjoy REAL flavor, must come to this restaurant to give it a try! The service is super good too, got well explained on every dish. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Nice relaxing environment and friendly service by the staff. Broccoli poppers are worth trying out and goes very well with the chili sauce. On its own it’s kinda bland. Chicken chop is tender and flavorful. Fries are freshly made with crispy crunchy bites into it. But the coleslaw is too badly chopped and tasteless and hard. Mushroom sauce comes with generous thick slices of mushroom. all foods are served piping hot. Fruit drinks is filled fully with fruits slices without skimming on the quantity. Mushroom soup is fabulously well flavored and matches the bread. Worth returning. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person RM 80–100 Recommended dishes Cajun Spiced Cauliflower Poppers

Booked for a Father's Day dinner & booking was courteously received. Chicken BBQ was done well, juicy & tender. Tilapia fish & chips was slightly overcooked & dry. Will try the seabass the next time & will inform them not to overcook. Food was served hot straight from the kitchen. Especially liked the unique wood-themed tables. Plus point - staff r very attentive & top notched service rendered. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 40–60 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Creamy mushroom pasta 4/5. Would taste heavenly if it just had a bit more mushroom flavor and mushroom bits. Perhaps the leave is a bit much. Truffled mushroom soup 4/5. Nice Tater tots 5/5. Crispy crunchy bites size. Only missing is some sauce to pair with it.

An unassuming and cosy restaurant that serves reasonably good western cuisines. Passed several times but never had the urge to try it out. Finally one day, due to next door restaurant was closed, gave The Break a break (pun intended). It was indeed a great experience. The pasta was great and the dessert cake was nice too. Finally understood why this place has so many raving reviews. Visited for the first time today and the food was really spectacular. We ordered the smoked fish Mac & cheese, fish & chips (tilapia) and mushroom soup for 2 person. The staff was really nice to stop us from ordering more as their portion was pretty big, especially the fish & chips. We didn’t manage to finish in the end, though the food was really good. The fish from the fish & chips was really fresh, while the Mac & cheese was seriously flavorful. I especially loved how they charred the top. Can’t believe I never knew about this hidden gem despite staying around the area for many years. Will definitely be back again soon to try the rest of their food! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
