Such a great place! The store is super cute and full of pictures of cute pups! They have a huge menu and everything looks so amazing! I got a sugar free brown sugar cinnamon iced latte....it was absolutely delicious! The baked goods looked wonderful but I'm not sure any of them were sugar free. Still....the place was amazing! The lady working the front was super friendly and helpful too! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Never sure about a coffee shop that isn't just a purist "roast their own" kind of place, but Beancounter did NOT disappoint. Ordered a plain cap. Perfectly smooth coffee. No bitterness at all. Hospitality was excellent. Great atmosphere. Oh and the treats. I held strong but you gotta have willpower bc they look amazing and they are all homemade. Go try them out. You won't be disappointed. Also, their roaster is awesome. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

They were able to make my favorite latte! They have so many flavors. The staff are awesome and the coffee is delicious. The hot lattes are perfectly blended. Taste like what you would expect and the iced lattes are good as well. Great food too!

I really, really like this coffeeshop and am so sad it's not closer to us. Everything about this place is great, from the seating areas to the shop staff. Their menu is huge and overwhelming at first, but everything we've tried from it is super tasty. They have seasonal drinks and plenty of vegetarian options. And their boba, omg. Their boba is well made and they have creative flavors that I haven't found anywhere else. A little pricey, but it's worth it for the quality of drinks you're getting and the amount of food you receive. I live several hours away but visit Burlington multiple times a year and every time I’m in town I make it a priority to stop here. They have the best chocolate cookie that money can buy, ask for it to be heated with a glass of milk in your in Heaven on Earth 😍 Their drinks are also amazzzzzing, my favorite is the spiked apple cider. This is the cutest coffee shop you ever did see and they have the cutest custom mugs, t shirts, and more, and there’s even a shop with a ton of accessories for your pup upstairs! The owner is AMAZING and she really cares about the customer experience and goes above and beyond to make sure that it’s a good one! I truly can’t recommend this place enough.
So this very surprising quaint coffee shop, is unexpectedly extra amazing from the second walk in the door. I mean WOW🤩, beautiful art work from the floor to the incredible ceiling. You almost forget you came here for the coffee. This place has me feeling like I walked right off the beach and into their doors🌞. They have 3 different levels and even you and your pooch can hang, on one of these floors. Food I mean real food was a great! It was just big and small enough to make you happy. Lip smacking good.🔥 I'll have to try the coffee again and pick a stronger bru. 🍵 Best of all, the staff were so helpful to you if ya can't make up your mind like. 👉🏽🤷🏽‍♀️😝 This place is a must try, especially if you a Yocal. You won't be sorry you did.

Review Date: August 14th, 2017 All I have to say is… half-pound cookies. No, I do have a bit more to say than that. I’ve been to Burlington a handful of times and since my last visit, this cozy of a place must’ve opened for business… and what a treat for Burlington it is. First off, they have half-pound cookies that are delicious. In the featured image, you can see a snickerdoodle cookie and it is as delicious as it looks. I ordered a iced caramel latte to go with it and together, it was a perfect combination. They had quite a few different flavors to choose from and the chocolate chip was a close second. As typical with more coffeehouses/cafes, they have a small food menu with some delicious-sounding eats. What the Beanhouse brings to the table is they also serve alcohol. Nothing hard or crazy but if you want an afternoon beer with some half-pound cookies, then this is the place for you. For the Beancounter being fairly new, the interior tied together great and it was bright and welcoming. The lady working the counter was also really friendly and chatted us up a bit as we did the awkward ‘first time here so we are looking around’ thing. If you are in the area, this is a great place to stop. Grab yourself a beer/coffee, some food and a half-pound cookie or two!

My absolute favorite coffee shop I’ve ever been too! My husbands family is from Burlington and we live in Des Moines but my favorite part about the town is by far BeanCounter! I wish Des Moines had some where as comfortable and plentiful menu options like they have here. I had the coffee flight today which was delicious and so nice to try multiple options. The breakfast flatbread was flavorful and filling. Also had the Asian wrap which was very large, crisp, and tasty. You cannot beat the half pound chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies. I had quite a large order and the cashier offered to help carry my goodies to my car as my hands were full, such nice staff members! I can’t wait for my next trip to this amazing establishment!! 100/10 to Suann and team!
Second time I've been with my bf who lives in the area and it's my favorite place to grab coffee in Burlington. Always execute on coffee and drinks and there's tons of variety. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Avocado Toast
