Nice cocktails with beach and sea view. Reasonable price, great service. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person ฿100–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
During the time of Covid19, the Beach Cha-Am Cafe is "ok". The hours of operation are a bit erratic, the upstairs dining area with the nice view is closed on the evening we visited and the menu seems to be limited or some items are out of stock. We dropped in for dinner on Saturday night and my daughter wanted some "farang food". The cafe was out of burgers. She opted for penne pasta with Bolognese sauce. We also ordered stir-fried beef in oyster sauce and "pad cha seafood". We started with the bruschetta. Some cocktails were also nice. The food taste was above average but the prices seemed a bit high. The penne pasta dish was 220 Baht. Maybe it's the Beach Road premium. The waitresses were friendly, but they seemed a bit distracted even though we were the only customers. They made it clear that the restaurant would be closing at 8:00 pm. Is this early closing time a Covid19 rule in Cha-Am? I would like to give the Beach Cha-Am Cafe another chance when things hopefully get back to a more normal situation.
My hotel provided breakfast vouchers for this restaurant. We were booked to stay there for 5 nights. Breakfast on the 1st day wasn't great (2 small cold slices of toast, 1 cold half- fried egg and 2 cheap low quality mini sausages. They didn't bother to bring sugar or creamer for my coffee). My Thai wife ordered a Thai breakfast ( rice porridge). She barely touched her bowl as the first spoonful was enough to put her off the rest of it. Service on the 2nd day was awful. We waited about 40 minutes for the standard breakfast. We left without receiving a meal or an apology for the delay. We returned the vouchers and will not visit this restaurant again. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person ฿100–200
Good food, reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff. Nice seaview too. I had English breakfast (at lunchtime) which had good quality ingredients like real English sausages. Dog friendly too
I'm honestly surprised this place doesn't have better ratings. My partner and I ate all of our meals here over our 3 day weekend stay... It was delicious! The food was excellent quality and the staff were nice. I really appreciated the fact that they were able to adapt to my vegetarian lifestyle, too, with no issues 😊 I can't wait to come back again! Thank you so much 👍 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ฿300–400
The restaurant seems okay. The breakfast that you get with the hotel is pretty miserable. The restaurant is close to the beach. You can see the ocean that's right across the street from the beach. Maybe if you order from their menu food will be better. We just got the free breakfast with the hotel and so the food was pretty bad. Over priced and staff not polite. Food also not that good especially for the price. FYI: Juices were just sweeteners/concentrate not actual fruit.
Good location, nice spot to relax with a drink looking over to the beach Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
What I like the most about this place is it's atmosphere. It's a modern style restaurant and has seats on the second floor providing you a beautiful view to the beach. The food is OK, not outstanding but also not bad. There is room for improvement. All in all I enjoyed my stay there and might be back

I added one star for everything they got right, and took one away for every mistake. A lot of the mistakes were simply down to the fact that the staff seemed to have almost no English at all, but since tourists don’t speak Thai, that’s quite a big problem.
