We enjoyed the full bar and low key, relaxing vibe. Great place to hang with friends. The food menu from Sorrento's is available here.
Apparently Barra’s is no more, remodeled into “upscale” bar according to receptionist. No karaoke, just a DJ Saturday night 10:00-12:00 midnight.

I ordered 10 wings and fries, the order was $27.88!!! I've literally never paid $19 for 10 wings, it's incredibly expensive and not tasty enough to justify the price. The wings weren't bad, they were just boring, and nothing special. The fries were a tiny serving size for $6 and tasted like cold mcdonald's fries. I would not recommend eating here.
Go here once a week for the amazing staff and the chefs tables rib eye, sautéed vegetables. Logan, Kevin, amber and Ryan are all great bartenders. They remember us, and what we drink. Admittedly the place itself needs a little upgrade from the owner. But the staff keeps me coming back.

Shauna on the bar is excellent. Also Joe and Kevin are amazing bartenders. I own a local bar and restaurant and this is my go to place to relax and just have a good drink. Love the Greeks Salad with blackened Chicken. Highly recommend if you are looking for good food and a place to relax and have a drink.

Fantastic place with fantastic service. My brother in law and I took our monthly road trip from Hickory NC and Banner Elk was our destination. The Barra aka Sorrento's was the perfect midway point stop for cold beer and great food. Thanks to our bartender and server Mark for the awesome service and all of the great local advice. To Craig and Burt thank you for your professionalism and willingness to go out of the way to provide us with information. And thanks to Angelo for taking the time to hang out with your patrons. It was like I was back home in New York talking with friends and family. Highly recommend and will be returning for sure.
What a great place! Up from Central Florida to try some snowboarding for the first time and came here for lunch. Met Burt who was super friendly and knowledgeable. Recommended a great cigar which added a nice touch to our whole experience. Thanks!

Drove from Arkansas - called ahead to see if the college World Series was available to watch. Jeannie was super personable and turned the game on nearly as soon as I arrived!!!! She provided excellent service as well.

We were there about 2-3 weeks ago & had an amazing visit with a minor glitch. Our night started off with the usual greeting & menus & the bartender made us feel welcome by introducing herself & explaining the specials along with the nightly entertainment. The garlic knot rolls are to die for as is their hand tossed pizzas. Jeanie was our bartender which has unbelievable experience & even made me a cocktail of her choosing because I couldn't decide; Raspberry Lemon Tart Martini, yummy. BUT after about 30min a tall red haired man approached the bar and instead of speaking to Jeanie privately he proceeded in front of everyone across the bar; extremely unprofessional and rude & it's like he was trying to instigate an argument. He upset her to a point that her lively attitude changed to almost a silence. If this guys a manager then they need to train him or demote him. I myself am a business owner & encourage my managers to speak to employees after their shift, otherwise it can be detrimental to the business & this guy clearly has no clue on managing. We live in Florida and will most definitely come back to see Jeanie @ Barras, I can only hope by then the management has been trained or replaced.
