Good food, good drinks, good service. Decent prices. Steak with mushrooms and potatoes for $28 is pretty solid. Not the *most* vegetarian friendly spot you could find in Madison, but it's a small menu to begin with. Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The bartenders are awesome and make a perfect cosmopolitan with a lemon twist. Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The kitchen saved this place for me. Ordered an old fashioned and a sidecar. Old fashioned was shaken. The sidecar needed to be sent back the first time. The second sidecar was better, but very boozy. Old fashioned was very bland and weak. The jumbo pretzel was phenomenal and the flatbread was delicious as well. The bartender that made our drinks had been working there just over a week. Perhaps training procedures need to be reevaluated.

Nice quiet bar located far enough from the college scene so that it's actually a relaxing experience. Good happy hour prices, and the appetizers were good. We drank some of their specialty martinis which are priced well for the area, and very tasty. This place can be a little hard to find when you first get to the hotel, but it is located just past the elevators towards the bathrooms. We left just before some love music was about to start (as I'm not a fan of live music in bars, but that is a personal taste). For me, this bar is too small for live music, as the band took up a lot of space next to the fireplace. I would recommend this place, even if not staying in the hotel.
Incredible little bar that exceeds all hotel bar expectations. Very reasonably priced for a hotel - $2 PBRs! Can't complain about the drinks - highly recommend the Sconnie Old Fashioned! The drinks are great but the food stole the show. Everything we got was amazing, especially the spinach and artichoke dip. I don't say this lightly, but it is the best spinach and artichoke dip I have ever had! The staff was nice and attentive. Highly recommend making a visit, even if you aren't staying in the hotel!

It's the 4th of July and we are enjoying a few drinks in The Bar inside The Madison Concourse Hotel. I think the bartenders name is Atticus. He was busy and he did a great job!
