Recently this restaurant reopened under new management. And the food is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared. I love the service and the staff were friendly with the guests. They worked like a team. It is apparent that the chef takes care to offer the best quality. I had the Arugula and Yuzu Salad with Grilled Salmon... the arugula was tossed generously with figs, pine nuts, and yuzu dressing... a delicious blend. The salmon was perfectly grilled, definitely NOT overcooked. My sweetie enjoyed the grilled cheeseburger and shoestring fries. He said that both were cooked perfectly. My other friend had the fettuccine with a creamy mushroom and black truffles sauce. He gave a thumbs up too. Our two appetizers were calamari and broccolini... again so tasty and perfectly cooked. It is on Fairfax, across from the upscale Grove Mall... though they have good restaurants there, I'm coming back to Short Stories restaurant! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First time staying at this hotel, and definitely won’t be my last. Super friendly service- Kat and Jeremy recommended their signature cocktails which were absolutely delicious. Drinking it as I type this, highly recommend the “too much happiness” martini. Thank you Short Stories for the hospitality!! Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
