11/10 if I had to give a rating to the food. fresh tasting, the tamales are amazing, the Acp is amazing, the burritos are amazing. Vegetarian fajitas and burritos are amazing. All in all, my first choice for Mexican food in burke ,caldwell, or catawba.

I am always happy to support small businesses, but my food was so greasy and unimpressive that I couldn't eat it. The food looks much better in the reviews, so perhaps I visited on an "off" day.... but it's not fun to pay $50+ for a veggie quesadilla, shrimp soup, shrimp burrito, and horchata and not enjoy any of it. Pictured is the $14 shrimp burrito, which was mushy and tasteless, served with a half order of stale fries. The second photo is the veggie quesadilla drenched in oil. The soup was also sub-par. I couldn't eat it, unfortunately. The service was friendly, but I wouldn't recommend take out. 😕

Friendly couple run this place. I was there only customer at the time I went in. I had the chicken soup and it was geat. I'll be back when I get the chance.
