With the quality and authenticity of the food, this place should always be packed! Don't be put off by the construction on the road nor the hole in the wall exterior. The inside is where all of the beautiful and delicious action is found! We sampled many different choices from the menu for my birthday dinner. I loved it, and so did the rest of my family. They were nice and thoughtful to allow us to bring in my cake, even bringing plates out and knife to cut it. Absolutely delicious food in a comfortable casual setting and a wonderful staff. I recently went there out of curiosity and when I told my wife how good the food was we went again the next day. The woman who owns the restaurant is a delightful person. I am very looking forward to my visit, my goal is to try everything on the menu. Great value for the money. I placed an order through DoorDash for pick up. My wife is gluten free and my daughter is dairy free. It can be a challenge to accommodate different dietary restrictions. When I picked up my food, the woman who prepared everything assured me that she read all the notes in the order carefully and wanted to make sure everything was correct. I appreciate that level of concern for getting the order right. The food itself was delicious. The shredded chicken in our arepas was seasoned perfectly. The other dishes we ordered were great as well. Overall, a great experience and great food. Food is good, but very over-priced and then you order and they up the price again. Unacceptable. For example 13.50 for only 2 sopes then they charge you 14.50 and then expect a tip. So if you looking at a full meal here its going to cost you 20 to 30 dollars which is reduclous. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
