We met my brother and his wife who live up the road here for dinner. The flavors were delicious and unique. Service was great. The only minor dislike was the noise level. The place was packed. We had a hard time hearing each other with everyone talking. Maybe some discreet soundproofing would be helpful? The food was good. Some tasty combinations of flavor and textures. I appreciated the fact that they did not douse the plates in oil. We could smell the fish when my partners dinner arrived. The menu featured an “Octopus” entree which I found upsetting. Staff was attentive but don’t expect a leisurely dining experience . We were in and done in under an hour. Bright and clean. Service is good. Latte was luke warm and not much flavor, but pretty! Everything on my plate was.burnt...French fries, bun, caramelized onions! Meat was good. Surprised chef sent out obvious burnt plate! Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Worth the trip at all costs! Nice Mahatten, Fried Sweet Potatoes, Black Cod and ice cream sandwich for desert. No question as to why James Beard is looking hard at The Alna Store! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Could not imagine a better local spot. Brunch is amazing. Dinner (especially pizza) and the rotating menus bring us back time and again
Another great find and in the boonies! The appetizer (pinto potatoes) and dessert (pudding) which sound simple but were uniquely fantastic and could stand alone without an entree which is something we are not used to when we dine out. The whole meal and customer service was great and the wines (in my mind the quality of the wine choices makes or breaks a restaurant) were the best! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
