This was the first time I've been here and I was there to watch some great live music by a great band called Chuck Norris experiment. It's a small place but a pretty cool place to watch alive band since you get up close and personal. They had some good specialty beers if you're into that. It seems as though they have some pretty good food but I have not tried it.

That's a metal pub how it should be! Good Pub Food, friendly staff, and for sure great music!
Also the plenty different beers will make you stay longer to try as much as you can ...
So for all the metalheads visiting Gothenburg, that's a recommendation!

Everything a metal bar should be - if I lived in Gothenburg, I would be here every week. So sad to hear it will close soon.

Even though I’m not a full-fledged metalhead and felt a bit like fish out of water (the place reeked of rock) I did enjoy the visit. The staff was accommodating and friendly, food was good. Sat outside in the afternoon sun.

Nice bar, good food and all the metal you like!
I own my own metalbar in belgium, so i know what im talking about!
Bartender called me gay though, cause i ordered "the wrong drinks" 🤣

Love The Abyss, the only thing that comes close is The Pit. It will be sorely missed on Andra Lång.

Really nice place for a fun evening amongst other metalheads! The music is good and the prices for drinks are OK for a Swedish bar. What really surprises is the food quality! We had two vegan pizzas that were both awesome and way better than we had expected! If you are into rock and some decent food/drinks, give it a try!

It was cool.
They didn't have thay many cocktails available.
Decent prices.
Seating was a bit rickety and could've been higher quality.
