We were visiting Alesund from the US in Aug 2023 and based on recommendation from the Thon Hotel Alesund, decided to check out the Food Truck festival (at the intersection of Notensgata and Skansegata streets). Being a vegetarian and craving for some spicy Asian food after having a lot of Scandinavian food over the past week, I naturally gravitated towards the Thai food truck by the Thai & Isan Catering AS. Although they had no vegetarian options available, she offered to make a Thai vegetable green curry for me. While I was waiting, she made it from scratch and adjusted the spice level to suit my Asian palate. It was clearly one of the best Thai food I have had in a long time and the customer service is top-notch. Highly recommend it !!!
