Rarely saw our waitress. After waiting for 20 minutes we received not only our rolls,but the appetizer and chili. An hour later we got our steaks. Steaks and potatoes were cold. The manager listened to our complaint and pretty much ignored the complaint,she started talking about jeeps. Tonight was the worst meal we've ever had and we probably won't be back. We came in today around 230 or so and we had a elderly person with us that was walking on a cane and can't get around good. We asked the hostess for a booth closer while she was walking us further back and she literally threw her head back, raised her hand, and rolled her eyes as hard as she could as she switched directions. Then she still had us move further to the back after giving us the table we requested. I won't include the name on here out of respect but we were very disappointed with that kind of behavior. Our waitress, Maddie, on the other hand was very professional and nice please acknowledge her for her professionalism. First the steaks were very good. Not the best I've had, but good. The service sucked. I asked for a full glass of ice with my iced tea, there was almost none in the glass. I asked for a glass of ice, 30 minutes later it came. Our 8oz filets were maybe 5 Oz at best, and they butterflied them. Or medium well steaks were Well Done. The mashed potatoes were liquid like a semi thick soup. It took forever for us to get our salad. The ranch dressing, which used to be very good, is now mostly mayonnaise (at least it tastes like it. My wife was out of ice tea for a good 5 minutes before they did a drive by, drop off the salad and run. Mine was about 1/4 full. We flagged down another waitress and requested refills, which never came. When our steaks arrived we requested refills, never came. I went up front to talk to the manager about our experience and after talking to him for a few minutes our waitress did bring refills (she saw me talking to the manager). The result of talking to the manager . . . A $15 credit off the bill for our very disappointing dinner. Lesson learned: any Texas Roadhouse other than this one. We haven't been there in months. The atmosphere has been drastically changed by advertising banners in so many places that it's tacky. What used to a be a nice place for western decor is now about advertising banners. The food was hit and miss. The steaks were great. However, the ribs were burned and the mashed potatoes were so over peppered that we couldn't eat them. We did speak to the manager on duty about the food issues which she offered to fix ir replace. But I am going to be honest the issue with the ribs has been happening for awhile. I told her thanks but no thanks if they messed it up once I didn't believe they could fix it. Our waitress was awesome!!!! She was friendly and kept our drinks filled with refills. She checked in and made sure we had everything we needed.
