This was the first time I’ve been to a Texas Road House and the food was excellent. Each meal was cooked perfectly. Steaks were tender and juicy. Service (Jorge) was outstanding. We had a large party and he didn’t skip a beat. Highly recommend this location. Well if you’d like to spend $17 on a steak salad and get just a few pieces of burnt steak….here’s your place! VERY DISAPPOINTED! The lady at the to go window was so rude. It took almost an hour to get 2 salads and a hamburger that was ordered on their website. There was literally 8 French fries in the box! My salad is missing toppings.Texas Roadhouse standards have went downhill! So much time to get the order right but it still came out wrong. I cant bring myself to give 1 star because we have had plenty of good dine-in experiences at this location, but the online order to-go is definitely subpar. This is the second time we've done the online order for pick up, and it seems the quality control coming out of the kitchen is lacking. One to-go box of fries had like 8 fries, and the other had over double that. The ribs barely had any sauce (I guess I should've clicked extra sauce?) And my wife's $22 filet was barely even rare (see pictures with the "medium" pick sticking out of it... maybe she should've ordered well done?)... I dont know what it is with the to-go orders, but I feel like you get ripped off vs. Dine-in service. Idk. Just choose dine-in if you have the time. It took a few minutes to be greeted by our server to get drinks, but it was busy so that gave us time to look at the menu. The host was very friendly and left us with amazing rolls with sweet butter. When our drinks came back we ordered a cactus blossom. Then we ordered an 8oz steak and rib combo. We waited about 20 minutes for our appetizer (the cactus blossom) to arrive and our entree arrived at the same time... then our server came to ask how everything tasted. I said we don't know yet, it all just got here at the same time. She said ok. I'll check back with you shortly. The onion was small... and after trying 1 piece it was raw.... so we placed it at the edge of the table to be taken and ate our entree before it got cold. The steak and ribs were amazing 👏 Tender and full of flavor! Our sides were great as well. We did not see our waitress again until we were done and waiting... she never came back to ask how our food was. She didn't even ask if we wanted another drink or dessert. She did ask if we wanted a box for the onion. I said no thank you. We didn't eat it because it was raw and came out with our food.. she grabbed our plates came back with the ticket and asked if we knew how to use the kiosk. We said yes. She put the ticket on the table and walked off. Now I've been on the restaurant business 15 years... the onion was still on our ticket. A manager never came. I feel the waitress was trying to push us out the door. And I feel it was her fault the onion didn't come out first because she avoided us when she saw it came out with the food... I walked up to the front to ask the host who I could talk to about the onion. The entire team other than our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. We never saw the manager buy the host had them take off the onion. We will be back, but it was a shame we were there to celebrate a job promotion and got stuck with a server who made us feel like we were an inconvenience to be there. P.s. we came as the dinner rush was ending and was out 30 min before they closed. We planned on having another drink and dessert but decided to go somewhere else for that. Saturday afternoon around 4. Pretty crowded already. I think there was several ball tournaments going on in the area. We checked in and received our text about 10 minutes later. Walked in as instructed, talk about a cattle call! This part was very disorganized. There is no area to wait that you are out of the way. Management really needs to work on this. We almost left because of how this was set up. We stuck it out. The waitress was awesome and the food was even better. We have never had bad food here, their steaks are the best and very reasonably priced. All the sides are delicious as well. Once you get seated this is the place to be. While service was pretty good, the food wasn't. I asked for my ribeye to be medium, and it came out well done and tough. The server came and offered to have them remake it. It came out rare and flavorless. She asked to have them remake it again and I declined. I had to take it home and finish cooking it and season it, which defeats the purpose of eating out. Absolute worst steak i've ever had. It was blue as in raw. The cook staff. It seems could not understand what a medium-rare steak should look like so as I sent the initial one back and they promised to cook it right it came back again as blue. As it went back for that second time, it came back again blue. I have never witnessed such incompetence in a cook staff. Or a management staff. Only as we were leaving did it seem like the management staff decided they were going to try to get involved. We had already paid. We will not be back again. Great service from our server Kelly ( i believe that was her name). We had a large group. We came in and put our names on the list. We were given and time but they were able to get us in early. Our waitress was amazing. She got us what we needed even though there were so many of us. Food was good. Birthday in the group so the team came to tell him happy birthday. The manager stopped by to speak with us. Very pleasant experience. We are from Florida and I'm not sure out local steakhouse would have accommodated our large group with such ease. Thank you!!! Great service, and great food at a decent price. Very family friendly. They are always so nice. The one time we had bad service from our server, the manager took over and finished serving us and gave us a coupon for a free meal. We still love going there.
