Great food. It is always a crowd here because the food is always good. The wait staff is friendly and responsive. The atmosphere is happy with lots of laughter music, and happy eaters. It's clean and the food comes out hot and delicious. You can pay your bill at your table. managers come by and make sure your food was to your liking. Great place! Went to Roadhouse for dinner last night with my husband, our kids, and family. We got there at 7:30 was told it would be an hour wait which it was so that was just fine. Once we were seated no one came to take our drinks, we waited for about 15 minutes before someone came and that was only because my father asked who our waitress was. She took our drinks and brought out bread with no silverware and no cinnamon butter until we asked for it. Then the food finally came out after waiting another hour or so at the table for it, once it came my MAC and cheese tasted good but was cold my fully baked potato was fine but had hardly any toppings. Then for my steak it was way over cooked I asked for medium rare but it came out almost well done and my shrimp was cold!! My husband ordered the steak and ribs and his steak was over cooked as well and his ribs were extremely dry. My father and brother’s steak was overcooked as well but they didn’t say anything because they were hungry and did not want to wait any longer. The manager came but did nothing but remake the food, by the time it came out we just had it boxed up because we got tired of waiting and the rest of our family were already through with their dinner. For a 2 hour wait to eat and 30 dollar plates we expected our food to be the way we asked. Once we came home my husband checked his ribs and they are still dry! All in all it was a terrible night of waiting around for not great food or great service! If you know me, you know I love me some Texas Roadhouse. This was for sure a great one, and well worth a stop if I'm ever back in the area. The bartender Gracie was ON POINT! she had the beer refilled without me even having to ask. Very attentive for a busy night. Food came out quick and as good as it ever is. If you stop by this location grab a seat at the bar and you won't regret it! We have not been to Texas Roadhouse in a few years. We had a great experience dining here! We were seated almost immediately. There is no wait and they were pretty busy. The atmosphere was laid back and loud ( in a good way loud) There was a good mix of people. Cowboys and city folk. Young and old. Done with the shopping heading back home in the country kind of crowd mixed with teenage first dates kind of crowd. Passing through town kind of crowd and married couple kind of crowd. Like I said… a good mix of people. Our waitress brought out fresh rolls and cinnamon butter right after we were seated. We ordered The rattlesnake bites as an appetizer. We had the barbecue chicken entree and steak tips entree. Everything was fresh and good. The prices were reasonable and affordable. Our waitress seemed super rushed and talked so fast that I could not understand her. We told her that we had not been there in awhile and needed a little bit to look over the menu. She came back four times within 5 or 6 minutes to ask if we were ready to order yet. I felt rushed to order. She ended up being a good waitress (but slow down girl!) I am glad we dined here. The food was good, and the waiter was nice. But the to-go order always takes forever despite us ordering it early. Also, so many employees stay in the walkways talking to each other that its impossible to get by, we bumped into them even after saying “excuse me” and making it clear we needed to get through.

My wife and I showed up at 7:50 on a Thursday evening. Was told the wait was between 15-25 minutes, so we opted to wait for a seat. We received the text that our table was ready after 20 minutes. So the initial wait time told to us was spot on. From there the waitress met us at the table and took our drink orders from us before we sat down. Drinks got to us quickly, and we made our order. Ordered an 8oz Prime Rib cooked medium well, and a kids chicken strip for my wife. The food came out promptly, was hot, and cooked as ordered. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The waitress was attentive during our whole dining experience. Hailey was great. Would most definitely recommend this Texas Roadhouse if you're ever in San Angelo. We went to dinner tonight, we had a bad experience, they didn't give us what we ordered, they brought us cold food, and the waiter who served us didn't stop to serve us. Our server was awesome. Overall it's a nice place and we will probably be going back. Man, those rattlesnake bites are so good. Some of thing things I think we will avoid in the future include the kids hot dog and the Mac and cheese. These two items seemed to be pretty low quality, hardly above what you might find at Walmart in the "hot and ready" warmer that they use to clear out the old deli products. The Mac was a little better than kraft stuff you make at home, but only just a little. The steak was good though, even though the steak pictured my kid ruined by asking for medium-well. Haha. When we arrived our table was dirty with used napkins, chewed up crayons, and grease all over. We also did not receive any bread until AFTER the appetizer came out AND only because we got up and grabbed it ourselves after we asked and didn’t receive any. When our food came out, my steak (a handpicked steak that you can’t replace) came out medium well when I ordered rare. I sent it back and when it came back it was cold in the middle. Two managers came to talk to us at our table and in the end not even a dollar was comped. Paid full price for a meal that was sent back twice AND messed up twice.
