I haven’t eaten in a burger joint like this since I was a child. Basic but delicious burgers, chips and a soda in a down-home atmosphere. I really enjoyed it. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Cheeseburger

Affordable, greasy, fresh veggies. Similar vibe to the Burger Bar in Cleburne, just elongated. If I lived there I’d eat there constantly. Walk the square, ring the big bell for me, I couldn’t too many people around but I really wanted to. Friendly ladies even in a mad rush! Definitely expect to take out eating here during lunch rush. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Double Double Cheeseburger

Was hungry on the way home from Galveston and a burger sounded good. Dianne checked Yelp and was intrigued by a review for Tex Miller’s. Man, oh man! This tiny joint tucked a half block off HWY 36 has been in operation since 1938. Three friendly country gals work magic with fresh ground beef, bacon and a ‘30s era cast iron flat-top grill. Place your order, take a seat and enjoy the banter of locals as you enjoy the distinct aroma of the sizzling burgers. No secrets here. You see every step of the process as your masterpiece burger is griddled, draped in melting cheese and combined with fresh cut fixings. You’ll be seated on a bench with a comma-shaped desktop in front of you. There’s no deep-fryer, so your side will be a bag of chips… just right for your individual tabletop. You’ll have fished a soda from an old-school Coke cooler just as diners did in the ‘30s. You’ll unwrap your freshly smashed and cooked burger and chomp into what I believe will be one of the best burgers you’ve ever experienced. Don’t drive through Cameron at lunchtime without dropping in and trying Tex Miller’s. Thank me later. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Best burger in town! Place has a long history and we were excited to try it out. Fast and Friendly service. Burger was old fashioned, greasy, off the flat top, just like we love it! Served with chips! You can't go wrong! It is a small place, so can be busy at times, but can always take it to go. We loved the old time seating, just don't get that anywhere anymore! It’s been years since I’ve been to Tex Miller’s. Decided to stop by and have a burger and it tasted just like I remember. Fantastic burger and a great group of ladies working there as well.

A Cameron tradition. I believe the quality depends alot on who is cooking. Our party of four was mostly please with their order. A mistake was made on mine, as I had mentioned no mustard but got a mayo mustard mix. The burger was just average today to me. They do not do fries. Chips is your choice for a side. A nice selection of soft drinks, but cooler could stand to be colder. The quality did not seem on par with the cost. 4 burgers, 4 soft drinks, 4 bags of chips, $46.00, seems a bit expensive to me.
This place is Iconic. They were doing smash burgers waaay before the restaurants we see today. If you are driving on 190/77 through Cameron and want nostalgia, this is a great stop. So much history in this small burger joint. Downtown Cameron is rapidly changing and becoming a cool place. In addition to the historic courthouse, the square now has a Coffee Shop (building built in 1896), a bakery, a cool Antique store, numerous shopping boutiques and the acclaimed Venue at Railfan. Its a neat small town square. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
If you are wanting an old time drive in burgers the this is the place to go. We were on a trip and it was lunch time so I Googled burgers in Cameron and this place popped up. It was close to where we were, had very good reviews and had just opened for the day. Could not have been better planned since we were the first customers for them! Very good Old Fashion burgers. This brought back so many memories of my childhood. $17 lunch for two. I had the Bunless "Keto Friendly" cheese burger and Alan had a double cheese burger plus drinks. Can't beat that. The ladies were so wonderful and we even met the wonderful owner. ❤️ may this place stay open beyond 2037 and celebrate 🍾 100 yrs! 🎉🥳🎊 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10
