Service is a little slow during lunchtime as the kitchen backs up and they get pretty busy...order ahead if you're in a hurry. That said...food is always hot a prepared upon order...portions are great and their garnish and compliments of sides are delicious. Definitely worth the price and the little bit of wait time to get a good meal. Just a cozy little privately-owned business and not a chain. Seating has a small area of tables, so if you are looking to sit down and dine in get there early, no large groups will fit in this cozy little place. There is no table service so you order at the counter and pick up at the counter. Take out is my preference. Had two bento boxes this time...photo attached

Great price for the food. We got the Beef bento box and we didn't realize how much food that it came with. Sad I can't add a higher rating than 5 star.

Beef Teriyaki Bento Box
This place is so good! The staff is so kind and quick. Their food is made fresh to order which is great because I’m really picky with chicken, but I ordered the chicken teriyaki with vegetables bowl and ate every piece! The chicken was so tender and didn’t have that “frozen 10 min ago” taste to it. We also got the chicken dumplings which were very tasty although I wish they came with sauce! But the soy sauce went well with it anyway. The store is clean and quaint. We will DEFINITELY be coming back.

One of those places that you want to tell everybody how good they are, but at the same time, not really, because you're afraid it's going to get too crowded.
The food was simply excellent, hearty and flavorful ramen, the Bento that's so satisfying and tasty, unagi was great also.
I've been at family restaurants before, but this one in particular has a particular "feel like part of the family" atmosphere, the owners are very friendly and happy to serve you.
Spirits, beer, rolls and sushi.....
What can go wrong?

Ok, so let me admit that I've had different styles of teriyaki plates from other restaurants and it took me a little while to get used to this one. I like their prices, and their quality is good. This is probably one of the most genuine mom&pops teriyaki spots you will find in all of San Dimas but I truly appreciate the fact that they've incorporated a little bit of sushi into their menu. It makes up for the fact that there aren't too many teriyaki spots to choose from but this one understood very well what this community needs😁
