The Assam milk tea boba had a strong tea flavor and sweetness level was low (a good thing). One issue is that the boba had a hard center like it was under cooked. It could be a one time thing. An annoying aspect here is that there ordering kiosk is really outdated and difficult to use, for example, no contactless payment or Apple Pay, and the ordering flow is awkward as you have to go through multiple screens for each drink. Overly sweet for my taste, but it’a really good option if you mix their boba drink with a can of Spindrift you sneak in. I requested 50% sugar, but I think the premix they use is fairly heavy on sugar. Otherwise, ingredients seemEd to be decent and the visual appearance of their drinks is over the top. I thought it was interesting that they used what appears to be an espresso machine to brew tea for each drink - no slow brewing in large pots here. It was nice to see a couple of earnest high school kids working a real summer job in the shop like most of us not from the Bay Area had to do growing up. Given its Mountain View, maybe these kids owned the boba shop and were doing UX research, but I like to think they were hard working young lads learning the value of dollar instead of interning at a high brow tech company. Went here after dinner on the main drag. The staff took our order pretty quickly and our drinks came out in around 2 minutes. I got the caramel boba, which was a bit sweet, but good. My family got the silky mango and the taro lover drinks. The taro was bland and not my favorite, but the mango was really good in my opinion. Overall, a pretty good boba place. 4/5 stars! I am a big fan of the Liquid Gold here! A little watered down compared to other locations, but still pretty yummy. There's lots of boba shops in the DTMV area, but this definitely a decent option. It's located inside 3 Kingdoms Hot Pot. My drink recommendations: + House Milk Tea + Silky Mango + Liquid Gold with Egg Pudding + Creamy Jasmine Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10

great standard teaspoon location! wasy to miss since it shares an entrance with the hot pot place. i often get the jasmine milk tea with lychee jelly and light sweetness which is refreshing and not too strong. *sip* they also have new drinks out all the time that i try as well. downtown parking is free and easy especially during non-peak hours. Came here after dinner. I like their unique fruit flavored teas such as grasshopper (lychee cucumber), lady bug (passion fruit kumquat) and flamingo (watermelon & passion fruit). Very refreshing. In terms of milk tea, liquid gold is my favorite.

The kids ready love this place. It's not fancy but it is good and consistent. The service is fast and friendly. Lots of sugar 🙂

I got the basic house black milk tea; first thing on their menu. The flavor of the tea is not very strong and the drink was SUPER sugary. Boba were great though -- good level of sweetness and excellent texture. If I went here again I'd try a different drink (maybe their other teas are better).
