Lots of these reviews mention the mac and cheese, so I already knew what I had to order. I'm very pleased to say they were 100% correct. I had the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, and it was some of the best I've ever had. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I had the Mesquite Chicken; it was excellent! My husband had the Caesar salad with steak. He said the steak was excellent! Tonight I had the steak tips with broccoli and jasmine rice, was excellent. My husband had a side Cesar and the Bang Bang chicken flavor was excellent temperature could have been warmer. My daughter had the Short ribs with mashed potatoes and broccoli. She said the mashed potatoes were amazing and the short ribs were good. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Overall kind of an average experience. Came here for early drinks/dinner. Drinks were inconsistent. We ordered a couple margaritas and a mocktail. The mocktail was fine, no complaints there. One of the margaritas was so watered down, while the other one was super strong that it seemed to just average out. The nachos were an interesting set up with what looked like shredded white cheddar and was virtually hard to palette after it cooled. Plus, for nachos that cost $16, you’d expect some more than just sour cream, pico de gallo, and shredded lettuce for toppings that were unceremoniously just placed above all the chips and cheese. Even though listed on the menu, the expectation was somehow lacking in the reality of the appetizer. The smokin’ tots though (not photographed) were good for tavern in the square standards. Service here though is incredible. I’ve never been to a local chain that has such an attentive wait staff. Not only that, but everything came out in under 15 minutes, which I consider a fairly quick wait time. Truly, great service here overall. TLDR: Food is average for tavern in the square standards (maybe skip the nachos and go for tots if you’re debating the carbs for the apps). Service here is great. Haven't been here in a long time since they removed turkey tips from the menu. Today, we had mac and cheese and Mesquite Chicken Bowl. The waitress Sarah H. was great, fast, and friendly. This was a very busy night as well. The food came out fast and was good. Good value today as well. Pretty loud today due to the full crowd and loud music. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Average experience. The food was overly saturated with sauces and minimum meat. This place is way too overpriced for what you get - more like an upscale bar. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1
After a long cold day of soccer, Tavern was a nice respite for something to eat and drink.. lots of tvs to keep you occupied watching sporting events whilst waiting for your food.. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Food is ok, not impressive but not bad. We got a beyond burger replacement for the black and blue, regular fries, add BBQ sauce. The quinoa bowl was just alright. The kids options though, lots of them and the portions were large. We got a kids cheese pizza and a kids pasta add pesto. No complaints from the kids so that's a win. We didn't get any drinks though this place has an extensive amount of beers on tap and mixed drinks. Service was a bit slow but helpful when present. Had lunch with a friend on a Friday and it was not busy. Easy to get a table. Food was good and big beer selection. I got the BBQ chicken pizza and it is definitely enough for two people for lunch. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Service is terrible. They forgot to give us utensils, took us screaming “excuse me” 15 times before we could ask for the bill. It took like an hour for the food to show up as well. The server gave us a dirty look when we asked for boxes. As people of color we felt extremely uncomfortable, not a single POC worker. They didn’t even do their job. Also they had so many mosquitoes inside. But the food was fantastic, especially bang bang broccoli Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
