Always a pleasure eating here. Even if it's to dine in or to go. Friendly and courteous staff is very welcoming. The lobby is always clean and the food is always fresh and hot. The food was great! It was pretty busy as it was the first Christmas shopping weekend but we found room. Service software very courteous. Pleasant deal with. I would definitely recommend. The food here is excellent and the servings are very large, yeah they are much more reasonable Taco Bell. There’s flour taco has a very unique texture and taste. Like chipotles everything is handmade and fresh. The sauce is so unique the people coming to buy just the sauce I had never heard of tasty taco before and now I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a restaurant that is better than Taco Bell, Chipotles, and Moe’s. I also have the flour tostada and it was great as well. I would recommend this to family and friends who are looking for something when they can’t find the other restaurants that are used to. I have always been pleased with my visits to Tasty Taco. The draw for me to this restaurant is their unique taco shell. It is somewhere between a hard and a soft shell and tastes great. I have not found anything similar anywhere else. Aside from that the product is served very quickly, it is warm and the proportions are reasonable. Wow - that beef original taco is legit! We were traveling through and wife insisted we stop since she used to live there. One taco is enough and it was delicious!! We also got some flour chips and queso - again, delicious! We have something similar in Omaha (California Taco) but this may have been better. Either way, worth the visit! Delicious and fresh. Warm freshly baked flour tortillas served with beef, chicken or pork tacos. Fresh flour chips with guacamole too. All for a bargain price.

I loved it. I grew up in a Spanish house, so I hate going to Mexican restaurants. Mainly because in my opinion up north everything is made from a box or can. I go because of my wife. Tasty Tacos changed my mind. When ever we go through Iowa we will be stopping in there for food. Now please open a location near Minneapolis MN so I don't have to drive to Iowa. Co-worker recommended this place for me as an out-of-towner. Walking in, one wouldn't expect this place to have good food. The menus signs are old school, the lobby and seating is out dated. I got a to go order of every type of meat taco on flour tortillas. To my surprise the tacos were massive! Definitely couldn't finish all of them, but they were good. The service was super fast and polite. Probably under 3 mins from order to completion. It comes with their home made hot sauce which was also pretty good. I'm definitely coming here again. A nice location. Easy to find. I would love a drive thru here. I got the original puffy flour taco they are famous for. It was quite good. Ground beef, lettuce, shredded cheese on a puffy flour tortilla. The salsa was more sweet than spicy. It added good flavor to the taco.
